Idea New CT sytem

The whole point of the /logout system is to prevent loggers that haven't been put in combat yet. The way you are proposing allows players to do this.

 

If this replaced the current logout system, the player you are going after could easily logout without you being able to hit them.
With the logout system, you could be able to get there in time for their PVPlogger NPC to still be there, or within the 10 seconds they have to stay still to logout.

 

Even though it is not my favourite thing in the world the new CT system does make it a lot better in the case if loggers. I hate it when I am chasing someone and they log and get away , and the new system prevents this.

 

This wouldn't exactly stop combat logging. As soon as someone sees a full D charging at them, they would immediately log out before they even get hit.

 

I LOVE the combat logging system we have now.

 

Oh, another thread about this, how surprising.
First off, I'll bet you're a logger, otherwise why would you complain about this? Can't log out and save all your stuff instead of fighting?

I love it, if you have no reason to fear, just logout with disconnect, you don't need to use /logout 24/7, not to mention it's in the actual DayZ, if you do log out your character crouches down and does stay down for a little.

Ok greedy... Say you're a non donor full iron tier two guns that just spent 20 mins running to nether. Then you have a team of four camping the entrance. You dont wanna spend another 20 mins running back just to immedietly die again...

 

So then don't go to the nether. Simple.

What most people fail to understand:
Going to a place where you are outnumbered and out gunned is your fault. Get a team, don't run solo. Get weapons and armor at low towns, don't use leather. Don't go to the nether. It's just stupid. There are practically no chests there. Simple as that
