Mojang removing buy craft and etc?

    Today there was a lot of new about Mojang removing perks that you buy with real money. So that means no minecraft servers would be allowed to sell donation packages. So I'm asking the creators of mc warz on how they are going to manage MVP and VIP packages. Because we won't be allowed to buy anything off of you guys due to the licensing of the servers.

    P.s I don't know if this news is actually confirmed from Mojang, but I just heard a lot of the news.

    I doubt this is true. Almost all servers would just stop existing, and mojang would lose many players.

    Exactly, I think the reason to do this is to advertise minecraft realms. If all the servers shut down. Then people would start buying monthly minecraft realms subscriptions. That way Mojang would create a massive amount of money.

    I don't think is is true.
    Noone at mojang tweeted anything about this.
    And even if they would do this there are still many ways to make a donator system.

    I actually looked it up and it looks like Mojang might sue people for making their servers a pay to win advantage. And hy pixel made an announcement about the news.

    Wait, I just read the Minecraft EULA, and basically, say, SSundee can't make money from Minecraft anymore.

    Besides there is still other ways to pay than buycraft using other sites that don't use paypal and all that.

    If this is true, I hate it. I love the idea of Minecraft servers actually being able to stay up. Say goodbye to small servers like mine.

    You can't make money from Minecraft, like actually selling an item. But if it was like donating for ingame items and perks, it's fine.
    When you donate, you can get something in return. This isn't guaranteed, but you should receive this something for donating unless you don't want it.
    Dontions are like a loophole, in a way. And since Minecraft servers run on donations, not profits, it should be fine. I mean, you can't like, stop donations.
    I actually thought this meant the end of Minecraft servers (and thus, all of Minecraft), but apparently nothing in the EULA was changed. As long as it's donations and not profits, it should be all good.

    Regardless, I think that McBrawl will stay. This is a large community with regular donors.

    Donating - Giving money to a server for nothing in return
    Purchasing - Giving money to a server to buy a rank

    Technically, you could donate, and the server owner could give you something in return to thank you for the donation. It's kind of a loophole.
