WarZ Staff Conclusion

VERY EASY Rage ban ^^^ (Not trying to direct it at you guys, Just saying someone who builds up trust can do whacko and rage ban people.)

 

I do agree with this post. I'm not saying all of it is true but i'm not saying all of it is lies. I have been staff on more severs then most people and I understand how to run a server a bit farther into it more than just logging on and having a good time. almost 80% of making a server and its staff is done server side not on the server. I have checked team speak 5 times a day for a week now and I have seen at the most 5 people at a time. And i'm on most the day on war z on the second server. and of the 8 months or so I have played on it I have only seen 3 mods. Also I have seen some mods abuse their power (not saying all of them) but a few who would get pissed off at someone if they died or something else happened. Like I said the total post isn't all true but yet again its not all lies either. -Cazards

 

Just a couple days ago, I was playing on #1, and there was FIVE staff members online. I said "Do we really need five staff members online one server?". They replied, "Acp. We are playing.".

I know that mods need some "free time", so they can just play together and have fun, but it seems like this is happening way to often. I strongly agree with almost everything in this post.

So does that also mean that SMods should lose their privilege of banning permanenty w/out proof too? Because the same scenario goes for them as well.

 

Not technically, I was just gearing it towards mods. It takes a while for a mod to become a smod, obviously, so they are more trusted. I don't think hed just give smod to someone who was a mod for a awhile without trusting them. But, This was not geared towards you in any way.

Anything I would have wanted to say was summed up by the other moderators who posted here. However, there is one thing I want to point out -

We were only supposed to receive MVP originally so that we could enjoy WarZ. Many of us in fact like playing WarZ, or enjoy it at least a bit. Only current moderators and up received the Moderator rank on WarZ. None of the trial moderators received it.
The other moderators were not given the rank on WarZ to actually moderate, although we could if needed. Really, it's to enjoy the new features. Besides, it only lasts for a limited time. I don't see what's wrong with little things like this to reward the dedicated staff with. After all, we all spend our time performing staff duties to help McBrawl, why not a little reward to let us enjoy a server we don't currently moderate?
I feel that you misinterpreted the reason why the non trial moderators received the rank. Remember, it wasn't to help moderate the server, it was to enjoy the new release for a bit.

TL;DR - The other mods didn't receive the moderator rank to help moderate, it was so we could enjoy the update with a limited MVP time.

Of course, many of your points are totally valid. But anything I need to say about it, others have said so already. As said before, this was only something I wanted to point out.

 

Staff is often biased then, I guess. Otherwise I wouldn't be saying this.
