Old MC-War Memories

    So since I've been back, I've noticed a LOT of things have changed ever since the server has been opened up and I just wanna take a moment and list some of the stuff that I remember in the "good ol' days" of mc-war.

    • "The LAW was not OP it was just P." -1337man52 2014
    • The old law rocket was a snowball, therefore you could mortar spawns and get easy kills.
    • There were more servers, I used to play on 12.mc-war.com and now it's gone. :frowning:
    • There used to be only one server at the very beginning of mc-war. (correct me if I'm wrong)
    • There were no crossbows back then or C4s, any of that stuff. Only grenades.
    • There were only a few maps back then, there are a lot more today.
    • DOES ANYONE REMEMBER KILLHOUSE?
    • Snipers were way more OP. (almost every gun was more OP back then)

      These are the things I can remember off the top of my head, do you have any memories you would like to share?

    Remember CallofDutyMLG, when the IP was a.mc-war.com, val ctf, the old Lockdown spot, @ZefMarcia going 550-0 on that spot in Lockdown with the old LAW?

    Anyone remember the airport spawn with the rainbow parkour? Back then you could complete the parkour and get a free minigun.

    Oh yea! I always got stuck on the ice pillar part where you kept going upwards. Nearly impossible :stuck_out_tongue: Wasn't there a guy who completed it like 60 times? And didn't even get a minigun...?

    I had my awesome Barrett that one shotted, but wasn't too OP. Then orange buffed it.... as if it needed a buff....

    Pistol parrots lounge, half dome, blowout, the map with floating stone brick platforms, wool on heads.

    I remembered the last spawn which had this awesome parkour :smile: aaaah life was better without C4, ray-guns and crossbows.

    One shot barrett.
    The scoreboard was the top half of the chat.
    You had to go over to the signs or use a command to change guns.
    Pistol Parrot's lounge.
    The glass panes in the old spawn, where people would glitch guns into spawn and break them, ruining the parkour :V
    The wall hack LAW and grenades.
    Molotovs killed survivors in one hit for infect.
    The use of the term 'noob' was extremely rare.
    Bailout.
    The old G mods and S mods.

    I never finished it myself. I think I got to the ice once or twice, but you're right it is nearly impossible to get past.
    Actually I just saw Lloyd_Batty yesterday on warz. Been ages since I've seen future5 though.

    Guardian map OIC. Loved that gamemode.
