Minimaps

Mini maps that only show the map are allowed. No players or mobs may be shown in it.

 

Oh, I'm sorry. I misread the question. Anyways, that's a list full of clients you may use. Also, there's a list is clients you may not use.

 

There is Zan's minimap, I'm sure it may work.

 

VoxelMap with entities turned off is allowed.

 

No all other minimaps are forbidden and you could be banned for using one if them also do not use damage indicator mod since it is also bannable if you are caught using it.

 

Zan's minimap has entitles on it... Aka players will show on it.

 

Does that mean you can't use it?

 

I just want to point this out. Rei's Minimap uses entities too, like Zan's. Players show up as light blue circles with arrows showing what direction they are facing. The only difference is that on Rei's, it doesn't show up by default, as it does on Zan's. The only time i have ever seen it show up by default was on a certain SMP server. I've seen many people force enable the entities option on servers to show players. Most people i've seen do not know this. All they need to do is go into the config of the mod...

If you are unsure about what Client-Side Mods are allowed, click here.

Basically, any minimap that gives you an advantage over another player is not allowed, nor is any minimap that shows entities i.e. players, zombies, etc.

 

Correct, if you are caught with it you will be banned.
