My first WarZ montage!

Nice montage!
I recommend when you edit the video, rather than pauseing the video, just go into Screenflow and edit it.
While you're in Screenflow you should also drag down the top & bottom of your screen so your top-bar and dock don't show in your recording.

 

This is a very good first montage, it kept me entertained.

 

Assuming that you want feedback because you posted this here, I will be honest.

Your clips aren't that good. You fight players you out armor and out gun in every fight. In several clips, you one shot new spawns that are just trying to find loot. Also, the video lacks editing. I don't want to hate but I don't enjoy watching 4 and a half minutes of fighting noobs and 2 minutes of you just running. Finally, the song doesn't remain constant throughout.

I'm not trying to be rude, just trying to offer ways to help you. Edit the videos, fight better players, and keep music constant. Honestly, no one wants to see you kill a player without full iron armor. It's just mean in my eyes. You gain practically nothing off them except a mediocre clip.

 

This a great good montage although you should just cut the parts each time your pausing the recording for screenflow, also you can just QuickTime if you don't need the sound so you can edit it with IMovie to do an even cooler montage !

 

If you want you could talk to Skulduggery57 about video editing because he has some amazing videos on his channel, and you may be able to learn a thing or two off of him.

I'm afraid that by the looks of it, you have an Apple so you can't use the same editing program I can :/
But I can give some advice about the content and the montage itself.

I know you're a fairly skilled WarZ player, but you're just running round noob town killing people. This is not necessarily a bad thing, it's what @Xenotaph does in his videos, but some people might find really easy fights a bit boring, so try and add a different aspect, it could be comedy, add some funny writing, it could be effects, if you can, add some cool transitions between clips. If you want, if you could send some clips over to me via Skype I could see what I can do with editing, I have grown quite proficient with using Windows Movie Maker.

But overall, very nice work for your first montage, trust me, they will increase in quality, even if you don't notice it.

Another thing that's very effective is to have extremely short clips, which would make for a shorter montage, but with the right music, it can be very enthralling. @YannyCat used this technique well in his latest WarZ montage but unfortunately I cannot find the video anymore.

 

Yeah, my number one tip for making montages is Delivery.
Either you have to be god damn MLG pro good at the game,
Or you have to make up for that with comedy, suspense or crazy FX. Boom.
A little bit of both never hurt anyone either.

People's appreciation for my videos is proof that you don't need to be good at all, (Because I'm not) to make cool montages, just have fun with it.

And If I had to suggest an editing program out of personal preference that works on both mac and PC (I'm pretty sure, anyways) Try Sony Vegas, definitely a more quality program than movie maker or apple's default editor, and less ridiculously complex than something like Adobe Premiere (What legit movies commonly use)

But if your looking for constructive criticism I think that maybe if you added some nether clips and if you edited out you pausing the video, that would be great!

 

Only thing that is dumb about this montage is that you logged atleast 3 times like a *****
