    The thing is, if this IS implemented, it'll be a risk-reward system. People will know that there's a high risk, but they'll also know that it means they could potentially outmaneuver a large body of enemies.

    Perhaps I've used a different kind of World Editor, but the building plugins I've seen allow you to place literally thousands of blocks with two clicks and a command or two.

    Yes, and as we well know, every map has only 4 walls so it should be easy peasy...

    Well, I never said it would be totally easy, just that World Edit would make it more easy than manual placement. But hey, if this idea is somehow salvaged, I don't see any rush for it to be implemented, we could take all the time we need on the barriers.

    True but seeing as that 3/4 of the community are immature kids they'll probably won't understand anything although it is a good idea.

    If this were to be added, I would take myself alone on the job of placing out barrier blocks so OOM'ing would not be possible.
