    I've noticed that when I capture a flag, I get nothing for the effort. I propose that you get 250 or 500 xp for each successful flag capture. This way, if one team's trapped in spawn, someone can't rake up too much xp in one round.

    The flags should give you ?750? xp. (It did one year ago)
    I think we got a bug report here :smile:

    The flag currently gives you the equivalent of 3 kills if you capture it. However, a larger reward would be nice, so that people actually try to capture instead of nuking.

    It should say in the chat Malttdaddy14 Captured The Red Flag for (--)xp and (--) credits.

    I agree that there should be a bigger award for capturing the flag to compensate the capturer for all the deaths he must have had. I always get a bad kdr on CTF because I am always trying to capture the flag instead of get kills. A nice 500 xp would be nice.

    All that happens when I capture a flag:

    Overall, the effort of capturing the flag is not worth it to me.

    You do get xp for capturing the flag but I think it would be better if you would get like 150 xp to encourage people to play the objective more.

    So this is one of the many posts about this topic... I will hopefully inform you once again the best I can.
    This is mostly true. In simpler words, you get 75 xp for the flag capture however you only get 2 credits. Next thing which makes capturing important, If you capture a flag and are on the winning team, you will receive 50% more XP.

    Current Benefits of Capturing the Flag:
    • 75 XP
    • 2 Credits
    • If you capture a flag and are on the winning team, you will receive 50% more XP.
    (Ex: If you got 1000 XP (Via kills) in the CTF game, captured the flag, and won, you will actually gain 1500XP (or an extra 500 XP after the game).

    Hopefully you have a better understanding. We do have these in play however you may not notice them.
