What is your PvP standard?

You defined my "standards" perfectly

 

Mine are basically nothing. I usually have no standards and just go with the flow. If I am going to a fight I grab whatever's on hand and go. It is a bad strategy, but I am too lazy to have a set of armor on hand.

 

You described my set for pvp in the first picture

 

A. Iron standard

1. Diamond sharp 2
2. Prot 1 Iron
3. Food
4. Strength and Speed 2
5. Rest is soups

B. Diamond Standard

Basically same as above but sharp 3 and prot 1

C. God

A. God set

B. God apple

C. Pots

D. Food

E. Soups

 

I don't feel like going to fetch all my items, but 90% of the time I use diamond armor, a sharpness 3+ sword, food, 23 soups, and 6 potions.
3 speed II potions, and 3 strength II potions.

 

Iron-

• Sharp 2 sword
• 2 rows soup
• Prot 1 Armour
• Strength 2

Diamond

• Sharp 3/4/5
• Prot 2/3
• 3 rows soup
• Speed 2, Milk Bucket (Sometimes), Strength 2

 

I agree with your iron. I usually don't like fighting in diamond armor.

 

If I fight for some reason (normally boredom) I'll take an op set. Prot 4 dia and a sharp 5 fire 2 knockback 2 unbreaking 3 sword.

Than of course, a full set of armor.

 

It might be a bit strange, but I only fight with full protection IV diamond armor, a sharp V fire II diamond sword, a second set of armor (Usually full protection I diamond) for if when my armor runs out of durability in the middle of the fight. For potions, I carry 1 - 2 strength II. If I'm preparing for a big fight I usually make regen potions as well. I carry 64 bowls and 64 melon, so it I run out of soup mid-fight I can craft more. I usually also carry a pickaxe just in case. The rest of my inventory is filled with soup.

 

How often do you play PvP Survival? :V

Enderpearls don't work at spawn.
One Harming potion is pointless cause it doesn't kill the enemy and he can heal with soup.
If you have not a single soup in your hotbar, you will get killed fast.
