Favorite maps to nuke on?

    I've been getting nukes on the same maps over and over so I was just wondering what maps you guys get nukes on often and which gun you use for that map.

    For me, my nuke maps are usually:
    Quarry - crossbow
    Showdown - raygun or skully
    Carrier - Isolator
    Warsong - Isolator
    Beaver (my favorite map :grinning:) - crossbow, skully, raygun, or isolator
    Dday (if I'm blue :stuck_out_tongue:) - Isolator, skully, or raygun
    Highrise - Isolator or skully
    Wildwest - raygun or isolator

    ....there are some other maps that I forgot the names but the ones above are just several maps that are easy nukes for me.

    Please post what map/gun you get nukes with so I can try to get some on those maps!

    I usually nuke on red on DDay. I rarely nuke on Blue... XD

    Wow..really?? I find it impossible to nuke on red for dday...you must be insanely skilled!

    Playing as red on dday is actually not that difficult. If blue pushes your team back to the water (which they normally do), then as long as you stay out of sight you can usually pick off a fair number of them with an l120_isolator.

    Shooting while you are in the water is quite difficult even with the isolator since you wobble up and down alot. I can get kills when I am on red, it's just difficult and annoying since I get bombarded with bullets the minute I land in the water. I guess I could snipe from the plane itself, though by time my bullet from the isolator reaches the destination, the player has already moved to some different location.

    Meltdown TDM or CTF...just as long as I die no more than once I have a guaranteed nuke.

    I'm not a huge fan of meltdown, but it's not bad.

    Another map I forgot to mention is vertigo TDM or CTF. With crossbow, you are almost always guaranteed a nuke!
    Beaver is my favorite map

    Meltdown was my first nuke. Along with number 5 and 9 I believe. I nuke on other maps to bust so far Meltdown has the most.

    To be honest, I nuke more as red than blue. Get out fast, and push the blue back up the cliff. Once up there, only a sniper can kill you.
    Even when reds are in the water you can be killed if you are not careful.

    That's happened to me before as a blue. I had the ISO and it ended up being the only time I have ever nuked on DDay.

    Blue gets down faster more than half of the time and then they hide behind those wooden post things..so when I'm coming on to the "shore" I almost get shot immediately.

    You don't like wildwest? I agree it's a big map, but with raygun or any sniper such as the isolator, you could camp quite easily and get nukes!

    I like it.
    It's just not a minigun map.
    I usually just sit in the hallways in the bottom of the canyon with an Iso.
