It's extremely hard to explain everything about WarZ. Refer to the wiki to learn more about the server.

I highly recommend you get a team when you play. It's only half the fun if you play alone.

 

1. Go north. Remember to get loot or you will be slaughtered.
2. You don't really camp in WarZ, you keep moving to grab loot.
3. No. Most of War's guns are either not in DayZ or are unrealistic. (prestige guns)

Don't let War trick you. War is highly inaccurate in terms of gun stats. The SPAS-12 and M1014 in War suck, but they're powerhouses in WarZ. Generally WarZ is more realistic, but it is unrealistic in some areas.
3. Grappling hooks let you move to higher areas you can't normally reach. For instance, you could climb up onto a roof.
4. Yes, definitely worth it; MVP is a lot better
5. The new map is pretty large. About 1000-2000 blocks wide.

Check the wiki for extra information. WarZ isn't easy to explain, you need to actually play it to understand it.
Make sure you have a proxy and VPN as well.

Zone specific items:
Zone 1: Wilderness, nothing special
Zone 2: Leather armor, Tier 1 weapons except for cz550
Zone 3: Slightly rare iron armor, Tier 2 weapons except for M40A3
Zone 4: Iron armor, Tier 3 weapons except MSR
Zone 5: Iron, Tier 4 except for barret
Zone 6: Rare diamond, all guns tier 2 and up (except sr9)
Some good camping places are South barracks, it's east near a spawn and zone 6
Both snow places in the top left corner of the map, the small one is zone 6 and big one zone 5
Nether in the top right corner and it's zone 6 (Lots of enemies though)
Industrial in the middle of the map, also zone 6
Airplane near nether which is zone 5
The best spawn town to start to gear up in is the one with the iron golem and gas station, even though it's zone 4 lots of people who aren't good go there so you can kill them for fast loot.
Warz doesn't have every gun war has, and the guns they do share are not the same. Pretty much the higher the tier the better the gun, except for M40A3 (II) and MSR (III), MSR shoots faster but M40A3 does more damage.
A grappling hook is used to get onto places, you throw it and when it lands you wait like a second and just click and you get launched towards there.
MVP/Vip are only worth it if you play with some friends and you like warz.
The map is medium/semi-large but there are way more towns then the last map so its size shouldn't be a problem.

There is one very important thing about this. Try not to give your Skype away to anyone. (Just Saying)

 

Don't give your skype away because if one person gets it, other people will get it and eventually DDoSers will get to it. Once DDoSers have your skype they will boot you offline for like an hour if you kill them. Also don't make your skype name your IGN.

 

If you're MVP. Try stacking some compass/food/guns/ammo. It's pretty useful. Also. Pro Tip: Do not trust anybody except yourself. (depends)

 

1. If you are a fresh-spawn, and you see a guy with iron, run. It's as simple as that. Run.
2. If there's no one that's near you in a town, raid the town and look for stuff. In the new map, it's easy to get iron, so just look around.
3. When you get good items, and you're in a good zone, don't run and look for other villages. Keep getting good things from that zone every chest refil. And whenever someone comes to your zone near you, #SlaughterFest.
4. Don't give away your Skype.
5. Don't call people hackers, even if they do hack.
6. If someone hacks, get if on video and post it.
7. Don't call people noobs, even if they're camping like noobs.
8. Don't test to see if leg breaking works by jumping off a tower.
9. Don't use leather armor over diamond armor.
10. Don't use a wooden sword over a BARRET 50 CAL.

WarZ is pretty dangerous. Kill the wrong person, and you're DDoSed. Of course, unless you take precautions.
Don't ask people to Skype you, use TeamSpeak. Don't give out your skype name, you're asking for a DDoS.

If this isn't checked, check it now. (assuming you have Skype)
This is so that anyone who isn't in your contact list cannot see your IP.
Again, you should use a proxy, and don't add anyone you don't trust.
Not even someone who seems harmless is fine, you need to really trust them.
Even then, remember to have a proxy.

 

Oh, Gillions, it's great to hear you're interested in WarZ! If you need any help, just message. Anyways, I'll answer your questions, but these answers are all based on my own experiences and opinion.

1. Good camping spot
Honestly, it depends where. On WarZ, I spend most of my time in Nether or Snow. In Snow, there's many buildings and houses with a second story, it's a good camping spot if you're fighting against a team. In Nether, the two best camping spots would be the ender chest (echest) room and the sniper tower. Sniper tower; because since you're fighting in stairs, it's CQC (close quarters combat). Basically you're landing most of your shots due to small spaces and you can dodge the enemy attacks by to running down the stairs or running up. Echest, - because it's a room with an enderchest, meaning MVP's can pull out anything stored in their enderchest. Also there's one door, meaning there's only one entrance and one exit. Although, the enderchest has cons, like, players logging in while you're camping, or opening a chest while in combat.

2. Is there every gun in WarZ that War has?
WarZ doesn't have every gun Mc-War has, but there's some guns they have in common.

Mc-War donor guns:
Raygun, Crossbow (There's a Flame Crossbow, but those 2 guns are we similar), Flamethrower, LAW, and Minigun

Mc-War pistol guns:
USP45, M9, Executioner, and Python

Mc-War shotguns guns:
Moddel 1887 and Typhoid

Mc-War Submachine guns:
MAC-10, MP7, and PP-90M1

Mc-War Sniper Rifles guns:
L120_Isolator and Disassembler

Mc-War Assault Rifles guns:
Famas, Lamentation, and Skull Crusher

3. What does a grappling hook do?
A grappling hook is a fishing rod. You can use a grappling hook by right clicking to throw it out, once it's lands and grips onto a block. You can right click to reel it back and there's a chance of landing to the location of where the grappling hook got thrown at.

4. Is MVP/Vip worth it?
My opinion, MVP or VIP is worth the money. As an example, if you're playing with your friends, your team encounters another team and they kill you. Do you prefer to walk back or tpa back?

5. How big is the map?
