    Clan Reset Discussion​
    Hello everyone,

    For the longest time, we have been questioned about clans that have been long forgotten. Clan owners who have not logged on in months and thus, making that clan's tag unavailable to others to obtain. After some thought, we have decided to get input from our players.

    Use the poll provided above to voice your opinion; as well as in this thread. This will only be implemented if there is good feedback. In other words, spread the word of this poll!

    I really want to make the FaZe tag :v
    This would cause disruption, though, so if owners provided proof of them being owner they should be able to get their clan tag back after the reset even if it was taken.

    I am all for resetting all the clans. The clan system has been in place for ages and it is time for a change. It may cause brief chaos, but think about the clan titles that would finally be available after being held for months by clans with 1 afk member.

    As I think this would be nice to remake some old clans, many clans with legendary names would be basically up for grabs for whoever gets it first.
    I went through a hell of trouble to get ahold of my clan name (LTE) and I'm not letting it go.
    Many clans such as FLUX, GSG, HACK and older clans hold great legacys, and although they are no longer active, most likely, unless their original owners claimed them, the legacy and reputation that they hold would be gone in a heartbeat. So I strongly disagree with the idea to reset all clans.

    Didn't see that. I suppose there could be a clan name reservation list where people who want a clan name can sign up to have it reserved. And if multiple people want the same name then you could choose the person who is most associated with the clan. Ex: if mafia and sungho asked for FLUX they should give it to mafia for obvious reasons.

    There must be an effective way of making it so people cant decimate a clans legacy name. Could you imagine what would happen if a clan named FLUX got into the hands of a random noob....

    But yeah, it would be difficult but I think it would work.
    They would probably need to add a new forums section dedicated to trials for clans if there is a serious disagreement.

    I like this, but seeing as everyone won't see this thread instantly, or even ever, we would have to have the "priority" list setup in a way that players would be able to vote on who should be owner of a desired clan name. The list would also have to be up for a while to accumulate votes, thus making this change be overall delayed. Still a good idea though, just needs to be thought out to benefit all.

    Well, we can't satisfy everyone, same with all the giveaways, etc. so if they miss out, they miss out, and if they really want their clan they can find a way to get it. Besides, we could keep the thread open long and have a big ass message in chat saying LOST YOUR CLAN IN THE CLAN RESET? APEAL FOR IT HERE: https://www.brawl.com/forums/(insert number here)/

    This would work out great. Similar to a lost donation thing?

    If they don't do the clan reset, maybe they could partially reset the clans. Meaning that they reset a clan where the owner hasn't been on in <nubmer> of months.

    Im all up for this. I have been trying to make my old clan for a while now and the only member in it is inactive.
    Also, this would make it so that others can revive old clans.

    I have a question. Will this clan reset eliminate only the clan name, or will it completely do away with the clans?
