Like others have said, we should make a separate thread for active clan-owners to reply along with their clan so it will not be reseted.

 

+1 , for the old clans to get resetted.

but a BIG -1, after the clans would reset, and big clans would lose their actual Clan name. Like me I'm in DawZ with other people, but after the reset maybe another guy could've claimed the clan already. So.. :/

 

Yes! +1! I will obtain FLUX and give it to its rightful owner, and try securing other dead clans into the hands of active players. LayZ will be invisible for a time after this, and once i feel that all clans are in the rightful hands, I will resume LayZ.

This seems like a great idea, many clan owners are long gone, and its quite difficult to think of fun and new names.

We all know there will be people who take others clan names, especially big-name ones. Perhaps you could let people "Reserve" a clan that THEY owned in the past (with ownership proof of course).

For example, many people will probably try to take FLUX or TRA first. To prevent this, you could let the previous owner of the clan reserve it if he/she would like to.

 

I am in to try to secure FLUX, because it was the best clan. I don't want a random guy getting it.

I think instead of restarting all clans what we should do is just the ones that don't have active members. What we also could do is when you don't play for 50 days ( something like that ) you automatically leave your clan so that more clans can be made with that name.

Yeah, i like the idea! Finally I can get my old clan "CAKE" back!
But maybe do a rework on the clan system first and add things like clan chat and clan list.
