Idea /Logout Announcement

    I wanna start off by saying that although I was originally very annoyed by the new /logout system, that was immature and selfish of me, this system has greatly improved WarZ gameplay. But one problem is, well, most seasoned players know to do /ct if they want to log just after a fight, just to be sure it isn't combat logging. But nowadays, how are you going to find out about the /logout command? You do /ct and it tells you, or someone else tells you about it. But for those new players who aren't friends with anyone and don't know to do /ct, they don't know /logout, so sometimes this happens:

    As you can see above, I tried to explain to them what happened, but more often that not, it results in this:

    My solution to this problem is simple: We have an announcement relayed through chat at an average rate saying 'Don't forget to use /logout when you log out, otherwise you may die of combat logging!' and there! Problem solved. And you might be thinking: Does anyone actually pay attention to these announcements? Well I know I don't. But when you first join a server, what is one of your main sources of information? Announcements in chat. I'm sure that when I first joined MC-War and MC-WarZ, I paid a lot of attention to the announcements in chat.

    Which texture pack is that? I have both the pre-update and post-update texture packs and neither of them have that feature.

    Where it says "logout" it says "Use /Logout".

    When someone is rushing me with full diamond, saying I am a noob, I don't take the time to read the fine print on my log out button. I hit escape then I'm gone. These messages would do no harm, so why not. As is, this server has no tutorial or guide what so ever at spawn. You leave and you're on your own until you find the forums.

    Well, last I checked at the spawn when players first login it tells you what everything is and how to use it. Also, there's a wiki on the forums.

    Then of course there's the simple solution which is don't log. You're going to die regardless, it's like trying to avoid the inevitable.

    I'm not talking about combat logging, I'm talking about generally. You're gonna have to log off WarZ sometime and if you use /logout, you tend to die.

    That or spawn with 3 hearts. I was on today when I crashed while riding a horse. I was chasing a player and figured the player would have killed me or my pvp logger. I logged back on and the player didn't see me, not having a compass, yet I only had 3 hearts left. Luckily he didn't see me and shoot me with low health.

    As though it has been said, they could use the texturepack as a reference or they could simply ask if there is anything they need to know that they might not know. Also they could read the forums. The forums have been getting more posts about logout.

    I agree with Skulduggery. Not everyone uses the new texture for various reasons, from being partial to a resource pack they already have to using the default texture so they avoid lag on crappy computers. This results in not knowing what /logout is.
