EULA Solution Idea.

As everybody knows, the new EULA is said to prevent the selling of gameplay affecting items. Lots of people are worried. Some aren't, like our very own Chickenputty. Putty said, and I quote: "Aint even worried." But just in case there have to be some changes, I have come up with some ideas to prevent the raging and to pose as new donations. They are the following:

People who already donated keep their items and the people who haven't donated can use credits to buy the Equipment/Perks/Guns. Each USD could be worth 2000 credits. For example, the LAW would then cost 10000 credits. But that's simple thinking. Now for the fun part, the donations.

Tags - There would be 5 different tags that you could buy that would "distinguish" the playstyle of people. These will change the color of your rank/clan tag color.
#1: Light Red (&c) this would mean "Nuke Prone"
#2: Dark Green (&2) this would mean "Rush King"
#3: Dark Grey (&8) this would mean "Stealth Warrior"
#4: Purple (&5) this would mean "EMP Freak"
#5: Light Blue (&b) this would mean "Bomb Master"
The various tags could be valued at $5 each.

Particle Effects - Self-Explanatory. You can buy various particle effects for $3 each. Such as flames, water, ender, block breaks, etc. etc. Easily done with bukkit plugins.

Wool Head - Yep, you guessed it. You unlock an option to wear wool heads instead of your helmet. Flash to the past! This could be valued at about $10.

Well, that is what I have come up with. Many of you may see these as pointless, but the EULA calls specifically for cosmetic items that do not affect gameplay. Please do not post extremely hateful comments. I am just trying to throw this idea out there to support the server with it. If I need to change something just let me know. Thanks!

 

I said the people who already donated would keep their items? I remember reading about items not being revoked in another thread. I mean, one of the main reasons why Mojang is doing the EULA is because children take credit cards from their parents to pay for this stuff, which then they get several complaints. Might as well keep the items so the money didnt go to waste. Such as my $102 worth of mc-war items.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was just trying to think of something that fits for a good price lol. Cosmetics are so limited in situations like this lol.. >.<
