    Moderators

Moderators now have a mod rank on every McBrawl server. This means that all current mods, not trial mods, have disciplinary commands on every server now.

Moderators will have a purple tag on their main server and a pink tag on every other server. This means that if you see a pink-tagged mod, don't automatically assume that they're an expert on that server. Our staff will need to get adjusted to this new system just as much as you will.

    Trial Mods

Trial mods will only be moderators on the server they applied for. They will be promoted to full moderator status if and when they're fully accepted.

Hope this clears up any confusion,

    ~McBrawl

What commands do full mods get?

Thanks for this info <8! There was however some people saying that staff told them they would be Smod on their original server. Is there any truth to this at all?

Thank you very much for the information. Seems like a good change.
Now just a quick question, will moderators have to go on their secondary servers, or is it just an option. An example would be a war mod who does not like party that much, would this mod have to go on party when he can, or is it optional/looked highly upon?

They will get the standard moderator perks/commands each server provides.

I don't know who leaked this information, but they were clearly wrong. It is essentially like everyone becoming global mods (if you remember what our global mod rank was).

I'm not old enough to remember the global mods :frowning:

Just one more question. Does this eliminate the point of staff applying for mod on another server? And if they were accepted for one or more do they get purple on both?

I believe we still have to apply for that server if we do indeed see it as a possibility to moderate full-time.

It is optional for mods to play on all of our servers. We just ask them to moderate on their main server and if/when they play on any of our other servers, they can moderate as they normally would.

Moderators do not have to moderate every server. They will just have moderator if they happen to be playing on a different server.

    EDIT: Ninja'ed by 8vo >:L

Applicants will still apply for specific servers. Moderators will still be focusing on their main server.

Does this include moderating the hub?
What's the new name for them?

Yes. All mods will have mod on the hub and it'll just be a mod tag.

Oh, so it's basically like being an @Erader1498 when he was a GMod (global mod)?

Yes and the only change is that they'll have a dark purple tag for their main server.

I have a question. Do full mods get to lock threads in other sections of the forums besides their own section they were assigned mod for?

Mods will be able to lock threads in the section they're mainly moderating. In other words, their main mod section is the only one they can moderate.

    Off topic:So many 'm's
On topic: why was this change done? Did something happen where we need mods with power on all of the servers? Or is this simply to allow the mods more freedom?
If I'm being to nosy I'll stop, just curious here
