    When I spawn in the Deathmatch, I usually take 1-3 hearts fall damage, because I spawn in the air.

    This is because of faulty spawn points. The developers are working on it.

    You do have like 15 seconds of invulnerability, so just eat some beans then run to cover, you have plenty of time...
    This is a small problem and it's being fixed...
