Lethal or tactical idea: Gas Grenade

    My idea is a tactical or lethal object that could be very useful.

    This item would be a gas grenade. When thrown it would have the affect of a smoke grenade on mc-warz but would do damage per second that you are in the radius of this weapon. The total time this affect from the gas grenade would be 10 seconds. Yes you may say this is long but if a player is in trouble and surrounded they may throw this to immobilize a area for the 10 seconds. This gas would do a total damage of 3 hearts in the second, but if a player is going to run through it the damage would increase, for example 3 hearts the first second three seconds later it would be 4 hearts... The block limit for this gas grenade would be 10-15 blocks. The weapon could be bought on the wall or on the store for the same price as the flash bang. The item could be a piece of wheat.

    This is a quite OP weapon.
    3 damage per second, then 4 damage per second, then 5, etc. will kill very fast.

    I agree with ehvahn, however, I like the thought behind this idea. It just needs some adjustments. For one, instead of being a lethal, it should be a tactical and, therefore, have the damage toned down to 1 damage per second, 2, and then if they walk through the very middle, 3 damage per second. This way it would be used more for utility than damage.

    It's going to be added in future updates, but Putty was saying they weren't sure about it as it would lag a lot.

    The damage is something that can easily changed by others opions. To me without feedback it would be hard to create something. Thank you.

    Wheat is already taken...
    In the update it will be the item for the Golden Gun.
    I don't really like the damage per second. I just think a wall of smoke is good...

    Lots of stuff. Basically anything that is textured will be used. The name tag will also be the dog tag.

    I think it is a good idea just needs a little damage per sec tone down...so its not as op.
