Minigun vs Skullcrusher

Skully is for maps like favella raid summit etc.
Minifun is for maps like warsong killhouce plazza so yeh.

well skull-crusher is a triple shot gun and its really powerful and good for far ranges
minignun meh it spreads, so its a close range, really powerful and quickly runs our of ammo

I think Minigun is better because it's more versatile than Skullcrusher. Just think of a scenario in which a swarm of zombies is charging at you. Obviously you would get killed at some point because of the skullcrusher's reload. With a minigun, there is no reload involved. Another thing to consider is the aiming. Obviously Minigun is the better choice in FFA because you can just run amok with the power of a Skullcrusher without having to aim at your enemy.

The Minigun is great for close range situations and is extremely versatile. An incredibly fun weapon to use at the same too. At close range, this thing is a beast. It can plow down people and destroy groups. At further range, it loses most of it's power but then again, you have your trusty pistol for that. It can be used in almost any gamemode and is essentially a powerhouse of a weapon because you don't have to slow down to aim.

The Skullcrusher is an incredibly powerful weapon and is great for maps which require long range constant killing. Because of this, it is a more viable weapon for nuking. It does not have any spray like the Minigun but can be extremely effective if used correctly. The downside is that you have to slowdown and aim to get an accurate shot.

So it all depends on the map and gamemode. FFA, obviously minigun. Close quarters TDM map? Minigun. Long range map as in Dhahran? Skully

 

Minigun is like a SMG with no reload - use it in close quarters or even out to medium range
Skullcrusher is a powerful assault rifle with burst fire - use it at close-medium/far range

The minigun is more powerful, as it's a donor weapon. 90% of the time you'll see a minigun user win in a fight against a Skullcrusher user, especially since the former has no recoil.

 

Depends on a players distance. Far away the minigun is not the best, up close it is good. Skullcrusher is good at both ranges.

 

It all depends on which map, really. Skully is better suited for medium/long range engagements, whereas the Minigun could essentially destroy anyone at close range. I guess it's also just a matter of personal opinion.

 

As others said, it depends on the map, range, and gun you're trying to counter.

Overall, the skullscrusher would be my pick. Plus, conserving ammo on the skull is much easier. You can spam it at a doorway and pretty much never run out of ammo .-.

Minigun is a **** ton of bullets being fired.
Skully is med/long range
Minigun is Close/Med range.

In my opinion the minigun is better, yet the skullcrusher for a non-donor weapon is the best in the game, then the iso, dissa etc. etc.

 

Of course the mini noob says mini is better. My opinion really depends on the gamemode or map. For closer range or ffa, you spam lots of powerful bullets and generally wreck face with mini. In long range, tdms and ctfs, skully is best for its accuracy and ease of bullet conservation, with only a little loss of power. In inf, i would never choose either. Ray just beats mini as a donor gun in infect, and if you have skully you have access to iso, and i find snipers work better in infect

 

I use both, they are both effective in any situation.

It does tend to depend on your personal playing methods, map, etc.
Close to medium range works quite well with minigun, and can work for Skullcrusher as well. If you are headed into a group of people, a minigun is advised due to the lack of delay between bullets firing and the ability to not have to reload.
Skullcrusher can do all three if needed, but it seems to be quite good with medium range to a little longer than that. Up close and personal can work quite well with this gun at the same time. This goes for long distance as well.

 

I own a minigun but I have to admit, the skullcrusher is pretty damn powerful.

Skully cuz it does a hella lot of damage and has better range. Minigun is good for plaza and small infect maps or rushing maps so I think skully

I would say the skully is better than the minigun... and skully + scav = unstoppable :3
The mini is not bad but the skully is better in my opinion

 

Skullcrusher because it is more versatile in more situations with being very effective at all ranges.
