Reset all clans?

I think clans with over a certain number of people (lets say 100) should not be disbanded. Clans with less then that amount should be reset BUT the players who owned the clan gets their credits back.

1. You put the same thing 5 times.
2. Hopefully we can put in a save for our clan. Owners of clans can only put in a clan save.
3. We don't know what will happen.

 

Did you have to specifically point out a certain player? He is very kind and has done nothing to be public ally humiliated by a bully. So what if he owns it?

 

The legacy and legendary name that went down in MC-War history as arguably the greatest clan off all time, will be in the hands of a level 41 player who will most likely not know how to manage a clan. It would be chaotic. Being a large clan owner is very stressful, you have to manage clan moderators, discipline misbehaving members, and keep the clan from falling apart. A major factor in why clans such as FLUX, GSG, and HACK were great for so long was because of their owners.
Another example I can give you is LTE, a few weeks ago someone wanted the LTE clan name and since Joeymast99 was banned, Putty made the name available to claim for that member. When I saw the clan active again I was pretty aggravated for a number of reasons. When LTE was originally created by joeymast99, it was meant to be a very strict elite clan that invited only the very best. It was a very controlled clan and I guarantee joey didn't logon and see a random in his clan. Why? Because he controlled it. And it gained a legacy name in MC-War clan history. When the player re created the clan in the past weeks, it bothered me, because his clan standards were not up to criteria with the original LTE standards were. This caused the clan to form a new reputation, that layered over that belonging to the LTE that Joeymast99 made, essentially ruining the special feel and touch about seeing the clan, LTE.

I don't want this to happen to every great clan that once lived, there are many fanboys out there that make clans like this just because popular members owned or were once in them. They were also taken shortly after a legend/ staff member put them up for the take (R.I.P. Dfy). So think about this before you go and dislike my post. Think about what will happen if every good clan name is available, think about what really made them a good name, think about why you that clan was previously so good that you MUST have the name. If you truly think you are a good candidate to carry on a clans legacy then be my guest, but don't ruin something that was once a great clan, community, and legacy.

I'm just saying that putting someone in the position of "Noob that shouldn't be Owner" is pretty rude. You could've stated that fact without insulting anyone. I agree with your point, I was just a bit upset that you used him as a "bad" example. I did not dislike your post because the idea was bad, I was mad about you directly attacking a player for a message that can be said in other, less hurtful way... But I guess McBrawl will always be filled with hatred and disrespect.

 

I like the idea. But for people that want to keep there.clan and members they should make a command like /clan save, befored the reset.

Resetting clans is a great idea. It can give all of the clan owes a new start!

 

Can you only reset clans like LTE (owner is still joeymast99) I have seen a few people ask to join but they can'tcan't

 

Put it on a timer.
If the owner is inactive for so long on McBrawl then ownership is transferred to a clan moderator.
If that moderator is inactive for a certain deration then skip to the next moderator.
Then once it gets to the last clan moderator the clan itself is disbanded and up to reuse.

Will we get our credits back? And couldn't we just reset the clans will null and stuff and not get rid of all of them. It would be hard to get all of my friends and people back in the clan.

 

I'm all in for a reset, but i feel the owner's of the clans should get some credits refunded.

In my opinion, there should be a custom filter, which would prevent clan names: FLUX, Malt, HACK, NEX, DAW, TRA, RoD, Fayz, Bevy, BAN, NANI, GSG, GoW from being created by players who did not own them previously or who weren't moderators in these clans. That way we would avoid some dummies taking all the good names.
