Well, many were wondering how I became staff, so I decided to type up this crazy guide.

It's a W.I.P at the moment. I have TeamSpeak3 and Forums done. More will come soon.

TeamSpeak3: TeamSpeak3 activity is a very important factor in becoming a moderator. For an example, my friend Flub888, who got me this account, applied for Survival PVP moderator, and the odds were ever in his favor. The poll showed that he was definitely going to become a moderator. Everything was great until he told me he was going to a State Swim Meet. When he got back after like a week, his application was denied because he was not on TeamSpeak3 for a week. Chickenputty replied to the application and said that he was denied because of his lack of TeamSpeak3 activity. I would not want that to happen to you. I would not want your dreams of becoming a moderator to be crushed because of a lack of TeamSpeak3 activity. Therefore, I will come with a resolution for you to become active on the TeamSpeak3 server before applying for moderator. Step 1: Download TeamSpeak3. The first thing to do is to download TeamSpeak3. You can find the download link here. If you already have TeamSpeak3 downloaded, good job! Step 2: Connect to the McBrawl TeamSpeak3 server. When you open TeamSpeak3, it should open a page that looks like this. When you get to that, press on Connections, and press Connect. When it opens up, type for the ip, ts.mcbrawl.com. Also, type in your In Game Name. (Mine being CaptainBrawler, and yours being juliustower) When that's done, press Connect. From there, it should open the McBrawl TeamSpeak3 server. Step 3: Joining chats or sending private messages. If you'd like to join a chat room, double click the name of the room, and you should be able to join. If you cannot join, it is either a room that is only for a higher rank that you. (Members can't join Mod+ rooms, Mods can't join Admin+ Rooms, etc.) Either that or the room is full. When you join a room, you should be able to talk to one another and hear others. If you'd like to just hear what people are saying, and not actually talk, you can press the bottom tab where it says what room you're in, and you can send messages. If you would not like anyone to hear you talk, you can press the Microphone with an X underneath where it says Bookmarks. If you'd like to stay in the room but not hear anyone talk, you can press the Sound Button with an X next to the Microphone with an X. Now, it's time to figure out how to send a Private Message to someone. Here's how: Double click their name, and it should pull up a tab with their name on it. From there, you now can type whatever message you want to them, and it can only be between you two, unless one of you takes a screenshot of it, and sends it to others, but I'd suggest not doing that. Step 4: How much activity is needed to become a Moderator? The amount of time you are on TeamSpeak3 is basically kept with the Admins. To have a good chance at becoming moderator, become friends and chat with others among TeamSpeak3. When more people know you, the more people like you, and the more Positive votes you'll get on your Application Poll. Another good thing is to be on daily. If you are going on a Vacation, make an Away thread saying that you'll be inactive on the TeamSpeak3, so no one will feel suspicious about your inactivity. A good thing is to be on TeamSpeak3 around a few hours a day. You don't have to be talking every second that you're on, but you should at least be on and messaging or being active instead of idling in AFK for hours, even DAYS!
Well, you've done it. You've read this LONG paragraph thing talking all about TeamSpeak3. I hoped it helped, and there is more to come. (About the Forum activity and Application, and other procedures. If you'd like to know more about TeamSpeak3, ask!

Forums: Forum activity can be either an instant-deny or instant-win. It's all about your post count. Here's one scenario. A new member joined the Forums, and posted a staff application. The application was flawless, with no grammatical errors, their TeamSpeak3 activity was high, everything was perfect except for their Forum Activity. Obviously, they were denied just because of that. Since they were denied, they left the forums and have never returned. If that member had joined the Forums and just posted on threads and such, their post count would've risen, and he then applied, he would've been accepted. (I will not name his/her name) Step 1: Posting. Posting is necessary when what you're posting something that relates to the topic/thread. If someone posts a thread about Flappy Bird in MC-WAR discussion, there's a 99% chance that it will be locked. Or if you post in a WarZ thread that's about finding Mountain Dew's, and you reply saying, I have 100 coins on MinecraftParty! That could bring the thread off-topic, which could then result in the thread being locked. Another thing about Forum posting is that you do not want to spam. In a few occasions, I have seen a Forum member or two just saying short and generic things like in Intros saying, "Hi." That's it. Then they reply to a lot of Intros and just say, "Hi" in all of them. Now that is an easy way to get a lot of posts, but will give you a spam reputation. Now about about the proper amount of posts before applying. 92.17% of the time, people with 250 or less amount of posts get denied on their application. That is because having 250 or less posts in basically considered "in-active." So being "active" is having like 300 or more posts on the Forums. The reason having 250 or less posts is considered in-active is because having not too many posts could mean that you either just joined, or hardly post. When you have 300 or more posts, it means that you either spam posts, or post legitimately. If you post a good application, have good Forum Activity, are mature and nice, and have preferably 300+ posts, you're good to go.

    In-Game:
In-Game playing is one thing many do not understand when it comes to being a moderator. Here's some questions I have answered to help some of your questions:
Question: Do I have to be a very good player for the server I am applying for? Do I have to be amazing and totally pro to become a moderator?
Answer: No, you do not have to be really good player on a server to become a moderator on it. You could be a pro like meltingangel on War, or LuckyPop on WarZ; you could be a normal player, not too good, not too bad; or you could be horrible: .0001 KDR on WAR or never having anything more that a leather chestplate on WarZ. It doesn't matter. What does matter is if you are active enough on the server, and play a good deal on it.
Question: How much time do you have to be on a server to become "active?"
Answer: Being active is a figure of speech. But I have a way to know if you're active or not. WAR: Being level 35 or higher is a good time to become a mod on WAR, because getting level 35+ requires around 6,000 to 7,000 kills, unless you buy hundreds of dollars of XP in the shop. Therefore, having near 6,500 kills is a good time to apply.
Question: Do you have to donate to become a mod?
Answer: You do not need to donate to become a staff member. On some big servers I have been on, you need to buy VIP, MVP, PRO, or something that costs around $40 to apply and become a staff member. Now in my opinion, that is stupid. No offence to the servers that have that in-forced but I have a few reasons why that is bad. 1) What if a person's Mother or Father would not like them to donate, or what if their parents restrict the use of PayPal, so the player cannot even donate. Also, that player could be a mature and well mannered player, and if they applied and had the rank needed, they'd be moderator no matter what. But... They cannot because they are restricted from donating, so they cannot become a staff member. I hope this helped you out!
Question: In-game, do I have to be real nice and helpful, or can I just be hidden and not really help out much?
Answer: Yes, in-game, you should be nice and helpful. When you are playing in-game, try to help out anyone on any question. (Unless the question is inappropriate like: "How do I **** a **********?") In-game, you should also be a nice person, and not call people "Noobs, hackers, or ********ers." When you call people noobs, many people think you're a new player or a person that rages really bad. They also think that you may ban people that annoy you or kill you far too much. When you call someone a hacker, people may think that you call people a hacker every time you are killed. When you do this, many will also think that you will ban people that you think hack. When you are a moderator, you do not ban players you think hack. You do not even kick people you think hack. Because some time, they may have extreme lag, so it looks like they glitch or something, or you are lagging. When you call people bad words, many think that you rage far too much, so you'll be a bad mod. I hope this helped as well!
Thanks for reading, and a shout out to Juliustower for being really nice and awesome in-game!

Since I knew most of this, I must admit that I didn't read through anything. By the way, @Hudstorm, @GK01320135780 applied with a low post count and they got accepted.

Nice guide! I'm sure our future applicants could make use of this and hopefully increase their chances of acceptance.
