WarZ Staff - What we do

People need to know that staff are working 24/7 on the server, forums and team speak. @Giggadream and @GreenPeas_ are working hard everyday to help the server .

 

I really like this guide, thank you Peas! A lot of people think WarZ staff just do it for the free MVP and don't actually do anything. But I noticed how you said you don't want to speak in chat to give away the fact you are online, but I'm friended with most of you S-Mods so I can see when you're online, is there a way to change that maybe? Because if for example I did have hacks, I could do /flist, oh damn Gigga's online, better turn off my hacks.

 

Staff should either
A. go on alternate accounts and "moderate" that way, or
B. they could steal MCSG's /disguise feature where it says that you "logged out" and that a random username/player has logged in. It wouldn't show their name in chat or on the tab list, and in the hub you would appear offline on your friends list. Also you could
C. (S-Mods+) Go into /vanish, and fly around watching players.

Now, great guide Peas! Because you and Gigga were on WarZ moderating the servers, you were able to ban 21 hackers. I know that Colonel bans approximately 20 hackers on a good day, and that is just from the reports sent in. That's probably about 1/2 the total amount of hackers out there.
GO DOWNLOAD A RECORDING SOFTWARE SO YOU CAN RECORD RULE BREAKERS!!!! The Staff can't catch all the hackers!

Anyways, I hope this clears the confusion on those players who think DDoSing is MCBrawl's fault.

 

I feel like you guys just DECIDED to finally do it. In all honesty. I been here for what? 2 weeks and I found so many hackers and all they do is go on a killing rampage. And guess what? They weren't banned at all. And they were on all the time. BUT I finally noticed "the guy isn't online anymore" so hes finally banned finally! But enough flaming. I SUGGEST YOU TO MAKE A THREAD SOLELY TO REPORT HACKERS.

and how do we know for sure they are banned? a thread wouldn't cause mush problem at all.

 

From there our SMOD Colonel_Chris will review the proof of a rule breaker. He will then give them punishment or disregard it. You can also check to see if the player was banned here. Make sure to type their exact name.

I like the part where you said we private message players, you have no idea how many times people have told me I'm not doing my job addressing players in the chat, hopefully this will clear up some things.

 

I'm still not certain about this. I do still see a lot of WarZ mods doing jacksh*t, their not helpfull, they don't listen and their immature. As Skul said a lot of the WarZ mods just do it for the free mvp. I hardly ever see some mods on, they maybe go on like two or four hours a week. Although I do recognise your work @GreenPeas_ .

 

Ok, I get what you are saying. I'll try and get some evidence, but as of right now I am on holiday. But I'm sure you know of some mods who are a bit slack?

Ey yo Peas, I got a quick question. Why is DoX so frowned upon? All it is just using various search engines available on the web. All the info that is put into DoXes are because of the person that is getting DoXed had put all that info out on the web in the first place. Ways to not get DoXed, don't it any info out on the web.

 

Because people use and exploit those search engines that contain that person's personal information and then proceed to harass that person by doing even more malicious activity such as SWAT'ing.

 

I try my best to report as many hackers as I can, but I have a mac, and fraps doesn't work so well on a Mac xD
