Question: Why are minimaps showing players not allowed?

You can see people shifting to hide from other players. At least I assume you can do that.
Sort of like x-ray.

 

It gives a more exact and precise way of telling where they are.
Even with name tags, you still can't be 100% if they're behind that wall or behind the wall behind that wall.
Thus, unfair.

 

No. It is unfair if they are allowed.

1. UAVs are swipe like radars, only showing position every few seconds.
2. Minimaps show position all the time.
3. If they say it's not allowed, it is not allowed.
4. Call of Duty radars don't permanently show player position with the exception of the Orbital VSAT (or whatever you call it) which shows exact position for a few seconds.
5. Nametags don't matter. Minimaps show an exact location.

No...I really don't think they should be allowed.

If you want minimap to be added, take it up with admin.

 

Or if you choose to use one, take the consequences into consideration before you do it.

I can see that. I know both of us are into helping mc-war through ideas. What format did you do.

Also make the petition more in dept. I think it will help out.

I was told you could have reis minimap if you had player tracking off (this was told by a moderator)

 

You can see snipers who are shifting, which is an advantage.

 

Example:
(I know this shows mobs its the same thing the other show faces and Etags.)

Think about it. what happened if someone knows where you're going all the time. What moves you make What gun you should switch to
how should i flank this player.

Just for the fact you said INFECTED. They definitely should not allow it.

If I am correct, Rei's Minimap wasn't made with a player tracker?

 

i think its the Radarbro mod it shows Mobs and players.
