    When I'm on, I always see a lot of questions from newbies asking several questions. This obviously comes to show that the server doesn't show newbies how to play well enough. There need to be several things done to make it easier for newbies.
    I'll be adding on to this as I go along, as I can't remember everything right away regarding the server. Feel free to make a comment on something that I've forgotten, how to improve something listed, etc.

    1. Player login messages
    When a newbie logs in, he may want to play right away. However, he can't do that. (not yet at least)
    There should be a CLEAR message for players telling them that a round is in progress. Honestly the current message isn't as clear as it should be.

    It should be in aqua or a different color, and all bold, as that pops out to players more.

    2. Controls for weapons showing every time you respawn
    Again, this could be in aqua text. This would show how guns work, and other useful commands.
    Ex:
    Gun Controls: Left click to aim, right click to shoot, drop key to reload manually.

    3. Make the /help menu more helpful.
    It currently shows a list of commands, most outdated and useless. I believe it should be updated to be more clean and organized, as well as updated.

    4. Leveling up
    The message needs to be more clear. It should kind of fill your chat a bit, so that it can be seen easily. In addition the level up message could also tell you what guns you unlock at that level.
    Example 1:

    Level up! You are now level 2!
    Unlocks: M9

    Example 2:

    Level up! You are now level [​IMG]!
    Unlocks: None

    5. Make announcements appear a little more often
    I don't see announcements a lot anymore. It's mostly just map and gamemode spam.
    The announcements were good to show players links to places like donating, voting, etc. and should be shown more often so that these helpful links can be seen.
    (not spamming announcements, but often enough that people can see it)

    I'll add on as I go along. If you have any suggestions feel free to tell me.
    War is confusing for newbies, and it should be made more easy to understand for them.

    I was definitely thinking about number 4 and 1 yesterday. It would be nice to see these ideas be implemented. Why not add an optional tutorial that's quick and informational that rewards the player with xp or credits?

    All the information a player ever needs is here and there and everywhere for a beginning player to utilize. The problem is most of the time players simply ignore the information. We can add this, great, but at the end, we will still see players ask questions. Not that anything is wrong with that.

    This would simply be splendid.

    This is something that needs to be added. Too many people are confused about how the server runs when they join.

    1. Not needed. You can see the bold pink message that says that the match will be done soon. When newbies read this, they can see the arena in progress message next to the pink one. If they can't, than they're too blind to see anything.
    2. Not needed either. There's a book in your hotbar that says how to scope and shoot on the FIRST page. If you can't figure this out when the book says 'How To Play', than you're way too lazy to even be playing on this server.
    3. Agree.
    4. Agree, only hear a quick xp sound when you level up, which isn't enough to notice.
    5. Yes, I think the other announcements need to appear more frequently.

    I can see a few of these being fixed with the big letters that appear in the middle of the screen

    1. I think bold pink is very easy to see.
    2. I don't really think you need to be shown how to shoot and aim every time you respawn, that would get really annoying.
    3. You actually think someone who joins the server is going to try and type /help or do something for themselves? that isn't how it works, they will always just ask instead of trying that.
    4. I guess so.

    You do have a book labeled HOW TO PLAY but no one pays attention to wat is in there inventory

    Maybe if they put a bold and pink message saying "Please refer to the HOW TO PLAY book in your inventory" for each time you join, or even only the first time you join.

    That's not the problem. The problem is the newbies are too damn lazy to read the instructions.

    I think showing you leveling up would be really helpful to some newbies since they might not look at the sidebar that much and mostly at the chat.

    The start message should say something like: "For more information please read your "How to play" book" This would make less people say "How can I get my guns? When do we fight? Omg... This server sucks the only thing you can do is parkour -.-"
