"It's Not Like CoD"

I remember how one of my posts full of ideas was criticized partially due to people saying it's not COD enough. Putting humiliation in gungame would probably be the last thing we would want to make this server more COD.

 

Its suppose to be the idea of CoD. Lets just say someone says add an enderdragon. Where on earth in the military or anywhere would you see that! I know I've said that before but some ideas are plain unrealistic and stupid.

 

I'm pretty sure he doesn't mean something as so unrelated as an enderdragon but something like how the gun fires and reloads are what makes the server somewhat unique and I actually agree with that.

 

I think those are good however some things like drinking magic potions etc. just don't seem right on a server with guns if you see where I'm coming from.

 

I like how you make this post after I shot down your sniper bull damage idea thingy...

I think stuff added to the server should be at least sort of CoD related. Stuff like potions and enchantments should stay out. But I've always felt that the server should add some more things that are not in CoD, but still kinda-sorta like it. Think of how much better the server would be. If we did more than just CoD maps, we could control how the maps are done completely, they would look cooler, probably be funner, and contain far fewer out of map glitches. This is Call of Duty in Minecraft. It can never be exactly like CoD or at all close to it, there are big limits to what can be added in a world of squares. This is why we should add more stuff, that is sort of related to CoD, but not always being in CoD.

 

they use to accept any maps that were good now the only accept COD maps but I don't know if they changed it back.

 

I believe they accept non-CoD maps if they are extremely detailed and well done.

 

I thought it would be nice to put CS, Battlefield 3 maps, and themed maps into the server. People said that wouldn't be COD like though I personally believe it seems really fun.

I always hate it when people say this.

Whenever someone says "it's not like CoD" it makes me want to shoot them in the face.

 

This thread should be moved it's not like CoD.

 

The people who are playing on this server are lucky that this is the best CoD server in minecraft.
