    I'm probably pretty late, but apparently 1.8 will support 3D blocks via resource packs.


    Here are some (2) screenshots -

    Flowers look pretty cool too.

    It's pretty cool. I hope they implement this for items so that we can make 3D guns in War, WarZ, and FpsHG....

    uhh. The only down side to this texture pack is it causes a lot of lag. There is a lot more stuff that has to be rendered causing a lot more lag. Just think, all the grass tuffs and stuff. However It looks majorly cool and people have already started to model 3D mine craft items. This has been out for a while. I would totally get this texture pack.

    But... This IS vanilla...?

    And as far as I can tell, the models only apply to blocks, so it would only really be useful for C4 models.

    It's not laggy at all; it's a resource pack.
    Plus they're really easy to make.
    Expect a new C4 model in my resource pack come 1.8 v:

    You probably just have a better computer. My computer sucks eggs and it will probably lag because there is more to render.

    No no, it's fine really. It's just a few basic things, it doesn't decrease FPS. I even tested it on one of my old computers, and it's fine.

    It's supposed to decrease FPS, seeing as it changes block models :l
