The reason beyond hackusations and etc.

Secure FpsHG before it falls to the "raging disease".
Since it's a new server, we still have a chance to stop the raging, and from our previous mistakes, just do something
to make it less rage-inducing.

 

Honestly I think the reasons why many players are raging now in War are this -

• Prestiges are "above everyone" including moderators in their eyes
• Overpowered donor weapons
• Overpowered prestige/non prestige weapons
• The lack of balance in the servers
• Lag
• Those MC-War players who nuke a lot - everyone wants to be like them (okay most people), and they'll do anything; those players are also trendsetters ("___ noob")

WarZ -

• Teleporting is a pay to win thing to be honest
• Lag (a bit)
• The trash talk in WarZ's community
• People thinking they're better than everyone else and can do anything they want
• Getting so far just to die to a Barrett is quite frustrating - overwhelming for some players

Thing is, War was fine until the lack of constant updates/patches, and when there were patches, they were the wrong patches. The Ray Gun is literally broken, as the explosion is incorrect. Yet there have been several delays and that bug hasn't been fixed yet.
(Ray Gun is only supposed to explode when the laser hits a player)
Plus the fact that it is so easy to get a huge killstreak with the Ray Gun simply because it's so easy to use (and is overpowered) pisses people off. Thus we have what the server is like now.

I think the reason people play on competitive servers such as War, WarZ or the survival server is because when you succeed it feels really good. A peaceful server may be fun, but it won't have the rewards that a competitive server will. I think the rewarding feeling is what makes servers like WarZ so popular.

 

For me, the reasons why people rage are:

• They are immature. This means that they don't know how to act properly around other people, thus leading to rage and bad behaviour.
• On servers like War/Z, when you're doing well you feel really good about yourself. But then all of your hard work is gone in a couple of seconds. This is something that a lot of people find hard to come to grips with, and a lot of the less mature people let their emotions get the better of them.
• OP / Pay-To-Win donor equipment.

 

Its also because they can't execpt dying to people they havnt heard of. Thats the main reason.

 

I think another main reason people rage is that sometimes you get so close to that rewarding feeling talked about earlier and then suddenly it is ripped out from beneath you. An example of this is on McWar you can be on a 20ks and then suddenly you get shot from behind and your chances of nuking vanish. Also, say you have full diamond gear and a bunch of tier 4 guns in fpshg, then somebody shoots you through the window with a Barrett. I'm not saying that these are things that need to be fixed. But sometimes people should remember that it's just a game and maybe take a second to relax before they type offensive things in the chat.

We, do kind of have a rage filter on fpshg. As everyone knows you go back too the hub or back to the title screen after you die. You wont be able to rage on the fpshg server because of this unless you go into another lobby. However, if people are rageing, they would just quit there. This kind of helps i guess, but i realize that this isn't the final solution for if people rage.

 

The answer is VERY simple why people call people a hacker. They don't want you to be better than them.

Sorry, I kinda necroposted but I just want to put some opinions about this thread.

 

I can understand about the players raging, but I can't comprehend the hackusations by prestiges. They should have more common sense since they're more likely to have been on the server longer. I'm also talking about the hackusations coming from prestiges that didn't donate to get to Lvl 31.

I have had a lot of people rage at me today.
@rb5po called me a minifun noob and then called iso noob on someone else.
instead of calling noob buy armor ._.
I do think some of the guns in war are unbalanced and unfair, though.
We need a way to stop this and it won't happen.
We will always have those unbalanced guns, the hackers, the hackusationers, the unbalanced guns, and more. The only thing we can do is limit it.

War: "Dang, died on a 14ks" *Slight Rage* *Respawns*
WarZ: *Spends Whole Day Looting and All Diamond Weapons* *Get's one shot to lose everything* "FUUUUUUUUU OMFG _______"

Also, with war, you have stats... THAT ARE PERMANENT. So dying and losing is devastating, as stats never reset. Minestrike's stats reset every 10 rounds! ...and fpshg doesn't keep that many records.
