Bug Advertising Filter Problems

    Well, buddycrack must want me to make a new thread since the other one never got resolved...
    The advertising filter still has huge problems that have not been fixed since the previous thread. Simple conversation sentences like these get blocked.
    infect: Cower in corner with the model...
    19-5 meh game
    Somehow these are considered advertising while people who spam IP addresses are not filtered at all...
    Since so many sentences get filtered for me (that have NOTHING to do with advertising), it ruins the playing experience since it makes it harder to talk to other people.

    some other guy: OMG Join this server it is so much better!
    *spams ip*

    anti-spam also does these type of things... seriously sometimes people just keep asking me questions and then i can't reply because of anti-spam :c and then some other guy goes back and breaks the rule of do not spam... AND the rule of do not advertise!

    this needs to get fixed :yuck:

    I have like 15 advertiser screenies. When people advertise I go on there server and advertise

    uuuuum... going on people their servers just to advertise mc-brawl on it is pretty childish... if someone advertises just report them... don't go to their server... that is pointless and will just show that you are immature

    Also, the owner of the server will know your IP.

    Yeah... I used to say "meh" all the time...
    Since it's blocked i can't use it again...

    If you're trying to tell a teammate to "go to the [insert place]" (not sure of the exact wording)
    it will block that too... It's stupid...
    This needs to be re-looked over...

    I'm pretty sure though, that the chat censorer is a plugin, not programmed by the coders... Please correct me if i am wrong.
    But if this is true, then we need either a better or a custom plugin...

    Is it also possible to make it so that you can advertise McBrawl's links and server IP's? I'm still not able to give people the report link in public chat because it says "Do not advertise" or something along the lines of that.

    It would be a lot better if this was fixed.

    IMO this is an easy fix that will greatly improve gameplay..
