    Question:
    Why is the chatbox currently disabled?
    I know it was disabled due to people spamming and giving links to a petition that wanted specknav's demotion, but it's been like two hours.
    I would think it would be back up by now.

    The shout box was disabled due to spam, flame, and arguing with staff. It will come back up when we feel members will use it properly.

    The people who used the shoutbox are not... let's say, the most mature nor best people in McBrawl. However, there are mature and responsible people willing to the use the shoutbox.
    Plus, I didn't see any proper authority in the shoutbox. All I saw that 18kss and another staff member removing messages, and not giving out warnings. I don't see how the flamers and spammers can't get a warning.
    So, from my current information, I saw a lack of authority that wasn't addressed to, which resulted in the shoutbox being disabled. I think the staff could have done better in handling the issue.

    Putty and myself were both giving out warnings asking people to calm down and stop. The shout box will be back, I don't understand what the big deal is.

    Okay. I may or may not had a little fear that the shoutbox was gone for good.
