    Now once we die in a round, we automatically get teleported to the hub.

    How about we add spectating in the game? Once you die, you are invisible and that your chat from others will not be seen. You will also have a compass that can teleport to players

    And if you wanted to leave you can just do /leave or /hub

    This way, you can see what other people or your teammates are doing.

    This can really come in handy, I was think about this a few hours ago. Spectating would be good for FpsHG, food idea. :smile: +1

    This can simply be added in 1.8 with the spectate mode. Just wait and we will have less coding to do.

    Spectators can block shots. Only mods can spectate right now because they are trusted not to. -1

    Would it also cause a bit more lag? On hypixels server they have that thing where you can go super fast and stuff. However this had made the server slightly laggy. Also the fact that you can block shots. If you want to see how your friends are doing, have them in a skype call and let them commentate -1

    Not in spectator mode for Minecraft version 1.8. Especially with the new performance optimization.

    As IronRaven said, only staff is able to spectate because they are trusted not to block shots. If you add this, and the player who died wanted revenge on the player who killed him, he could just follow that player around and block all of his shots, causing that player to die.

    -1 People would block shots
    Also what's stopping the spectators from dying from the gunshots?

    There are plugins that allow you to not go below the limit of the restricted area, kind of like the one that have implemented in McParty so this idea would be +1 for me

    1.8 still has a long way to come so I suggest just adding a plugin .

    {[*:::::THIS IS KIND OF HOW 9vikings9 SAID IT:::::*]} what about if there were a spicific height above the ground that you can't pass through so you can't block shots. and that way if your teammates win you get the credits (if you still are spectating). if this could be added it would be nice (i think)

    It would be perfect if players in spectator mod didn't block shots. I really hope it is possible to make that happen.

    Hmm, I guess the shot blocking is a bad thing, but originally I was thinking spectating could be added because I thought since the new 1.8 is gonna come, if people tried to shot block, the bullets will just go through them. Then shot locking would not be a problem
