T2BU New Warning Points Sytem

    Alright. Now, I came up with a new system for T2BU. It's pretty much like the warning system for the forums.

    So, if a member in our clan breaks a rule/rages, he receives warning points. Here is the list.

    • Raging (Using all caps "WTF DUDE"): 3 Warning points.
    • Minor Insults (noob, etc.): 1 Warning point.
    • Major Insults (fatass, mother f*cker, etc.): 3 Warning Points.
    • Calling Out Hacks: 10 Warning points.
    • Grenade Glitching: 10 Warning points.
    • Glitching Out Of Map: 15 Warning points.
    • Disrespecting The Mods And/Or Owners: 5 Warning Points.
    Now, here is the list of punishments.
    • 10 Warning Points: Temp-Ban from the clan for 5 days.
    • 20 Warning Points: Temp-Ban from the clan for 10 days (a week and 3 days).
    • 30 Warning Points: A permanent ban from the clan.
    Now, if you are a moderator in T2BU, you need to give the rule breakers a notification, saying that they received the certain number of warning points. If you don't do this, you will be given a reminder by me and/or karolina52. However, if you continue to forget to do this, your position as moderator will be revoked.

    If you are permanently banned from the clan, you have the chance to appeal, as you would in a regular ban from the server. If you want to appeal, do so in the comments of this thread.

    Great system. Just 2 questions: do you get 10 warning points for saying "hacks",telling people how to hack or hacking?
    Also should I as a mod tell you/Karolina who got warning points at the end of the day so you could keep track?

    calling out hacks and calling people noobs is just part of the game.... but i agree with you on the disrespecting mods and glitching [​IMG]

    This seems wayyy2complicated. To be honest, are you going to write down all the warning point amounts on players?

    Yes. We recently made having a forums account a mod requirement, so I created a conversation containing all of the mods and we're discussing who gets what warning points.
    So far, it's turning out well.

    As me and putty found out the hard way (we each tagged like 200 hundred people)
    Tags that are placed inside of spoilers do not work...
    But other than that, this is a cool system!

    It's nice to see a warning system put in place. However, why is staff disrespect only 5 warning points? You can easily be temp-banned from the servers themselves for that. In my opinion, it's a much more serious offence than the others you have listed, and it should result in more points.

    We'll think about this. The reason I put it as 5 warning points is because we can easily ignore it. If they do it twice, they're temp banned for 5 days.

    I think it still should result in something more serious. Something like an instant kick from the clan. Do you really want someone who has the audacity to disrespect our awesome staff in T2BU?

    If they do this while in the clan, they will receive a warning from us not to do it. If they do it again, they will be kicked.

    Why not have it be a certain amount of points depending on the staff member involved's opinion...
    Like if tallscot feels it should be 5, that's great...
    But if mod #1 thinks it should be 10, it'll be 10 if he's the member involved...

    (Sorry that i don't know the staff, i'm on vacation :V )

    Sometimes people say things that isn't really that offensive like you jerk and things like that so for that being resulted in a instaban is a bit to strict. But if they do it twice they are banned for 5 days. And if someone asks why that person isn't in the clan, they will be either embarresed or be liyng to them when they answer wich is punishment enough in my opinion. Obviously @tallscot and @karolina52 can rise or loser the punishment when I or one of the other mods report in who got points for what.
