This would only be for the map reset.

 

Off topic- I have heard many things about the EULA but its hard to decide what to believe at the moment

 

Yep... Nobody really knows what's going to happen for sure.

 

And its pretty frustrating from the Minecraft players side that Notch has made this stupid mistake :/

 

I think a total reset would be fine(even inventories). As much as you would not agree with me , Everyone gets to start all over again and gives people who didn't have such op stuff in the past to actually gain some op goods when the reset happens. If we all grind for our stuff, It doesn't really hurt to start all over again and regain what we lost.

 

How long do you think it would take to get 15 stacks of iron blocks and 2 stacks of diamond blocks? A very long time. If we could atleast keep some of our goods that we spent months collecting that would be nice.

 

I'm torn between a full, clean start, or to keep some stuff from the past world. Ultimately, if they do allow some stuff to be taken, just don't take anything, and it would be a clean start. I wouldn't recommend it since the players that did keep stuff would have a head start.

 

Lol Like I said its a grind. I made 8 double chests full of iron armor in a week. 10 stacks of gold in about 4 hours. ALso sent a screenie a while back to @cuddlemonster09 And if I can get 10 stacks of gold in 4 hours I'm pretty sure you can get 10 stacks of Iron in 2 hours since Iron is easily found.

 

I think a good solution would be to open up a second PvP Survival server and keep the old one. This would give the less experienced players on the original server a chance to start new on the new server and allow the older players to keep the stuff they worked hard for on the old server.

 

I do think there are enough constant players to open up another server. But for mcbrawl it all comes down to the money. If they are going to make the same or even a little less then it may be a good idea. But if a second server causes them to break even or even lose money they probably won't do it.

 

Yes I do think money is an issue but this also may lead to the newer players going to the new server and needing more warps or such and donating. Just a thought.
