Will Specknav Be Getting Banned/Joey Getting Unbanned?

    Question: I know this has been asked before and your answer was 'specknav is a moderator he will not being getting banned'. But correct me if I'm wrong, you've known specknav was the alt of a banned player for a while now, even before he was a moderator. Yet when you found out Joey was kjhgamer you banned him instantly for it? Why did you take one course of action against Joey but another against Specknav? Am I missing something here?

    We feel that specknav has changed his ways sufficiently and achieving the status of moderator only supports that fact. On the other hand, we do not feel that Joey is ready to rejoin the community yet, hence why we was banned.

    Yes, he has changed his ways now. But haven't you known he was SONIC_ZEUS_222 for a while before he was moderator? Practically everyone else did. He changed his ways after he got the alt specknav, he still used macros, according to your ban list? I'm not suggesting specknav be banned now, he is a good person. But shouldn't joeymast99 be given the same chances specknav was? It seems biased. And joey did nothing wrong as kjhgamer, as I said above, specknav still used macros on his new account.

    Yes, I know that. But specknav wasn't even banned for being an alt in the first place? Here's what I think you should do. Either:

    Unban joeymast99 and give him a chance, but kept on a tight leash. I prefer this one.
    Or demote/ban specknav.

    If you don't do either, then you're just biased towards specknav.

    As I said, if Joey is to create an appeal, and is successful, he will be unbanned.

    I know that, but what I'm saying is it shouldn't be necessary! If you were fair in your bans, the account 'kjhgamer' shouldn't have been banned for being an alt. Specknav wasn't when you found out he was an alt. And specknav even continued to macro/DDoS after he got the alt! When joey got the account 'kjhgamer' he didn't do anything wrong.

    We don't just unban people. We expect an appeal as we want to see Joey's explanations etc.
    Post locked. The answer to any more questions following this are :
    • Specknav will not be banned.
    • Joey is free to make an appeal whenever, it will be reviewed fairly as all appeals are.
