what happened with war?

It is difficult to understand what you have stated. Please elaborate.

 

Mc-War is not the same anymore. Which is pretty much true but hey tell that to 5 year old kids.

 

I understand what you are getting at. A lot of the 'Pros' actually left War because it was getting too boring for them. I left War then came back after a few months, as when you hit a couple of goals there is pretty much nothing else to do.

 

Idiots happened. End of story.

 

I know that. You said in the thread that joey 'quit' which is actually a wrong statement.

 

Players like yoshfan and @kyle885 left because they got bored of the game. At the same time, community has gotten worse and worse.

I strongly remember the rainbow parkour. Ahhhh, good times.

 

Ok let's say it like this:
Back one year ago or even more orange implemented the recoil and knockback update.
In my opinion is it bugged and i don't know why orange implemented it BECAUSE there already was knockback couse if the snowballs hit you you get pushed back. But no recoil.
I left the server because there was no fun anymore for me at this point. But the weird think is everytime I joined on another famous server someone from mcbrawl knew me and said hey left too and stuff like that.
I started to play much more with other oldschools but not on mc-war, nope on all the other servers.
When I came back to mcbrawl all those people I knew (outcluding mafia roke and meltin) left and it made me pretty sad couse I think that those people left because of the update like me. But some of them just left because they got bored the funny think is they left after the update. In 3 months Almost all of them.

Well I think the guns and updates has made war itself better. But everything else like the community .etc has grotten worse.

 

Well, plenty of stuff has happened. Here's how I view it.
It started with FLUX. Back when FLUX was made, it was all good, @mafiaferret was the best player, and everyone wanted to be him.
Meanwhile, we had the OP LAW, which everyone saved for infected.
It was all good though, because zombies had flashbangs, grenades, and molotovs.

One day, two players (not giving any names out, but one of them is on the forums) began using the LAW in TDM gamemodes, instead of infected. At first, people accused them of being "LAW noobs" but then they began using it too. Everyone soon realized that the LAW was OP and a great way to raise your KDR. It wasn't mafia's fault, he still used the non donor weapons and nuked with them pretty often. I only mentioned FLUX because 2 people in FLUX started it, if you will.
This is where people began to really care about stats.
But that's not it.
After the unfortunate Barrett and LAW nerf, there was the Ray Gun. A weapon that was deemed "underpowered." Honestly, it wasn't underpowered, it created an explosion and killed in 1 hit if you hit someone with it directly. But because of the old LAW, people complained. So it was buffed. It became an extremely OP weapon in Infected. One day, the code broke and turned into the Ray Gun we have today.
Meanwhile, there was the crossbow. Again, it sucked at first. But after a buff, it was extremely powerful. People who cared about their stats and wanted to be the best began using weapons like these. The same thing happened with the minigun.
While all that was happening, more and more people were unlocking all the guns. They eventually realized how OP the Skullcrusher was, and began using it. This eventually turned into the elitist community we have now.
As for people calling each other noobs, there are several reasons.
After the Barrett nerf, the Isolator was the only sniper rifle capable of killing in 1 hit everywhere on the body. That, along with its high ammo, made people rage since they constantly got one shotted. Boom, "iso noob."
People who just wanted to have fun on War were getting demolished by prestige players with Skullcrushers and Pythons. Not very fun, is it. In addition, if they complained about a bad score, the elitists would call them noobs, since they thought of themselves as above these new players.

And this is where we got our community from. The overpowered weaponry, the lack of updates to patch weapons, etc.
And of course, the elitists.

First of all, Joey on the server was way back in August-September of last year when he wasted his whole summer getting to level 100. Back then, we had many other well known players who were better because they were mods, staff members, etc.

No hackusations and insults?


This was taking in April of last year. Assholes have been on McWar for a while just so you know. You weren't here back then when a lot of great stuff happened. August-July of last year was orange's biggest mistake because he released the Ray Gun, Crossbow, and C4.

 

In the good ol' days, players left because of boredom.

Now, people leave due to d dos, being hacked, or straight up getting sick of this community.
