How to Tell if Someone Has Spawn Protection

    Okay, so a while back I noticed a pattern with the spawn protection and how to tell if an enemy still has it. For alot of people you have probably noticed this too. So I'm not sure if this is just for my computer but in game if someone still has spawn protection then they have no armor on. If they do have armor on then there's a high chance that they don't have spawn protection. Now I've also noticed that if they just come out of their spawn on a map like Dahrahn then you should probably wait 1-2 seconds before shooting because that's how many seconds for me it takes for me to be able to shoot them and do damage.

    Again this is all just what I think is the truth, I believe that there is a chance that it's just for my computer. However if it isn't then this is something that I believe that everyone should know.

    Thank you for this. I have noticed myself that when a player is floating in the air, they are unable to be killed. I'm not sure if this is just lag before they spawn in or spawn protection itself. I do agree with the fact that if they don't have armor they have spawn protection though.

    No but this is more something that I think some people don't know, and if they don't then this is something that I think everyone would appreciate knowing. A helpful tip if you will :smile:

    I haven't noticed that when they in the air that they might have spawn protection. However I will observe that to see for myself :smile:

    When a player as no armor they has spawn protection, this can be proven. I believe when a player dies they have three or four seconds or spawn protection, your correct a player with no armor has spawn protection a player with armor does not have any spawn protection and can be killed. :wink: This does seem kind of like a guide but at the same time it's not... However the is good for new players to know.

    What I do is wait 7 seconds before shooting at them. That's how long spawn protection lasts. In any FFA mode save for onein, I do the same at the beginning. After, I wait for the spawned person to stop floating and wait just a little before shooting them.

    Usually the spawn prot seems to wear off when their armor appear.

    When a player spawns on Team Death Match or Capture The Flag, they have around 7-8 seconds of Resistance/Spawn Protection. Their armor comes on at around 2-3 seconds away from losing all spawn protection. Anyways, I'm glad you mentioned this, Abcd, because many people call hackers from spawn protection. Thanks for this. :smile:
