New Gamemode That Sounds like Alot Of Fun!

    I thought of a new gamemode that will make this this server a little more interesting and fun!
    My idea is called protect the player. Basically this gamemode is simular to Team Death Match,
    But one person on each team spawns with black or white (matters on which team) leather armor.
    That person will be the person everyone on that team will have to protect. if the other team kills
    that person then they win. and the person who kills him will get 60 xp, because they won the game.

    This is just an idea, it sounds like alot of fun, i really hope alot of people read this and hopefully this will be added on to this server.

    Sounds cool, but does the player that everyone has to protect spawn in with any guns, knife/superknife, or equipment?

    I dont know I would say yes and no cause maybe if they had no guns or knifes then they would get like 2 xp every second like for infect... but then if they had guns then it would be a little fair too... I dont know... :stuck_out_tongue:

    Give them only their secondary, like onein. That is balanced.

    Sounds interesting, although I'm not sure if they're accepting non-CoD gamemodes.

    What happens when the player that needs to be protected leaves the game?
    I think the other team should then automatically win.

    Sounds nice, but I think that once the special player dies, it switches to another random player on the other team. Just to keep it from lasting 20 seconds.

    Sounds a lot like the Gears of War 2 gamemode Guardian. If you never played, basically one player spawns as a 'boss', which has I think slightly more health then a normal player. What happens is when you kill the boss, the dead boss's team has one live to survive. If you die when your boss is dead, you are out for the game. If you die when the boss is still alive, you respawn. To balance this out, a boss can have 3 lives, and a player can have 2 when the boss is dead. Again, let the boss have enough health so he/she will not die from one-shot kills. If you are interested in reading about Guardian, here you go http://gearsofwar.wikia.com/wiki/Guardian

    this has its problems because thoughts people can just camp at there spawn....the game will always end in a tie

    I think they should have no primary weapon.
    Otherwise, the guardian could have armor...

    love the idea! i think that once you die you shouldnt respawn though, that would put an interesting twist on the game. the chosen player should have resistance also just so they dont get one shot by an iso.
