Clearing up the mods section

Easier said than done. You say "Just add" it however, this would have to be done by either coding or purchasing an xenforo add-on that would give us the feature. Personally, I see it as much easier to simply tag the thread as denied and move it to the denied section.

Honestly I like when someone dumb enough to apply on there first day. It makes me laugh xD. Yea I like your idea though.

 

Peas you reilize that if you add this then you wouldn't have to waste your time with pointless applications and what Zap said its true cleaner and better.

 

This sounds like a good idea, but it isn't worth McBrawl's money, and certainly isn't McBrawl's top priority.

 

Well, sure it could be added. But I don't think this is high up on the priority list currently.

 

Then they have to deal with players spamming the forums to get the post count. Granted this problem I think would not be as bad as one would think. In the end though this idea is trading one issue for another. I like what you are saying and I believe there is a solution, which solves both problems.

Wouldn't people just start spamming the forums then?
Maybe say in the application How active are you in-game, on TeamSpeak, and on the forums (minimum of 300 posts)

 

Honestly, I should know just as well as everyone else, or even better than others, because I applied for mod with very little forums activity, as well as I was new to the forums. I agree that I like this idea, it would limit the amount of people making mod applications. Honestly, I suggest, although I'm unaware if it is possible, that instead of just making stick threads, before making a mod application the sticky thread that @Signatured made should pop up when entering this particular forums section. So you know what the requirements are. Or, an example application that models the certain requirements and qualities that a moderator should posses.
