Video Games Activision gets sued by a dictator!

    You most likely didn't know that the former dictator Manuel Noriega is suing Activision over how he was depicted in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2′s campaign mode. The lawsuit has been brought to a Los Angeles court. He is pictured as an kidnapper, murderer and an enemy of the state. I do not know how much he's suing Activision, but if we're unlucky then Acivision might not have enough money to keep on running anymore.

    Activision not enough money? I don't think that would happen. Activision doesn't only sell Call of duty games, they also make other games like skylanders

    I'm sure they didn't intend to depict Noriega. If they did have said intentions, then they pretty much hit it right on the dot.

    Well, if a company makes millions of people think that you are a murderer, kidnapper and enemy of the state, i'm sure you have the right to sue them for a TON of money. I mean, someone sued mcdonalds for something like 3 million dollars because she spilled their coffee on herself, and it didn't say that the coffee was hot anywhere.

    Unless he sues him for like a billion dollars, Activision's safe.
    It may be a few days of delay for the next CoD game, but nothing big.

    He is a dictator he probably ddoses his own country.
    Activision makes at least 1k dollars a day
    It's a video game set in 2025 how should he know

    Well maybe if Activision pictures him as a kidnapper, murdered, and enemy of state he should clean up his act and stop giving people the motive to depict him like that :Y.

    I know, but is it mcdonalds fault that she thought it wasn't hot? Of course i feel bad for her, but i really don't understand how that makes you able to sue them. It's like buying a knife, cutting yourself and then sue the knife company because the knife was sharp. It does not make sense to me.
