Video Games Tips?

i really don't know a lot about TF2 but i can say this...
go online as much as possible if you want some items... also there are a lot of mcbrawlers who play tf2
i recommend friending them on steam so you can play with them.

 

The thing to know about TF2 is, you need to know EVERYTHING that is going on around you. I wish I could help you out more, but I'm at work right now so I can't. But you need to know exactly what each class can do, their abilities and weaknesses, and how you as your class needs to act to defeat them. Unless you decide to be boring and play dustbowl, you're gonna need to be think of everything else around you when you while playing.

Do everything that Jora said, it will help you out a lot. The best game modes that you want to play when starting out in my opinion would be Attack/Defend and Payload. These game modes will help teach the basics for what each class can and can not do.

Also, another great way to learn about the basics is through youtube. One person I will specifically link helped me exponentially when starting out.

. If you are having trouble with your accuracy with some classes, ask one of us to play MVM with you, this game mode will help improve your accuracy with classes.

CTF: Engineers are actually very good at it. Make a tele destination at your flag.... sneak over to the enemies and make a entrance tele........ BAM PICK UP THE INTEL AND GTFO YA SCRUB. JKJK

The Machinima (prob spelt wrong, it's a sniper) is a really OP sniper gotta charge to use but once charged its so op with the headshots <3

Pyro: burn da beeches.

Anything else? Meh?

 

I'm a sniper at heart, but with TF2? I don't know.. Spy and Engineer seem to be my favorite.

 

You cant teleport with the flag...

 

Scout: The fast class with the devastating scattergun able to take out a fully healed (not overhealed) heavy with 3-4 meatshots. (Meatshot = All bullets hit.) Sadly, he only has 125 health.

Soldier: Probably the best starter class. Armed with a rocket launcher and a decent amount of health, aim at the enemies feet to maximize the splash. Its also easier to hit enemies with it.
Also, ROCKET JUMPPPPPPPPP! 200 health.

Pyro: Armed with a flamethrower, and a little less health than the soldier, the pyro has one devastating move/ability: Afterburn. After you light your enemies with the w+m1 tactic, (lol) They stay on fire and lose 3 health about every second. (Don't quote me on that.) 175 health.

Demoman: Easy to understand, hard to master. This class has a grenade launcher, and a stickybomb launcher. Grenades VS Stickybombs, (Think of GTA) You cant detonate grenades at the exact time, but you can detonate stickybombs whenever you want. They also stick, obviously.
Also, he can stickyjump, giving him distance and height, but not much control of the jump if more than 4+ are used. Or, you can go full on demoknight with your sword, shield, and booties.
Honestly, just search something like "Demoman class review." Its a lot to uncover.
175 health. 165 with the eyelander, and 200 with the Wee booties or bootleg.

Heavy: The fatass. Armed with 300 health and a supposedly called "mini" gun, he is automatically EVERYONES bullet wh*re. Unless theres a medic. Then, you need to protect your medic with an unlockable, called the sandvich. Drop it to heal him, or eat it yourself to get back to FULL HEALTH.

Engineer: Can create a sentry gun, (Obvious, A gun that shoots others.) A dispenser, (Heals others) And a Teleporter (If you don't know what this is, just quit the game...). The Dispenser is a building that will give your teammates and enemy disguised spies Health And Ammo. (Spies also get cloak.) 175 health. (I think, havent played the game in a while.)

Medic: Heals others. Not much to it, other than it is the most important class in the game.
150 health.

Sniper: Can 1 shot a fully overhealed heavy with a fully charged shot. You will know if your shot is charged with a "ding" noise. Also, a meter on your screen will fill indicating how far until the charge is done. 125 health.

Spy: Can ALSO 1 shot anything. The Backstab is a 1 shot, and hard to pull off. Your disguise kit is not as useful as your cloak, though, so remember that. The best loadout is all default, except the revolver being the ambassador. 125 health.

Annd Finally, were here. The most important part of the game.

It used to work? Maybe just with my normal server I play on. Dunno

 

My tips:

• Sniper
  • Aim for head every time
  • Move back and forth as if you were playing Mc-War
  • Let your rifle charge for as long as possible before a shot [More damage for longer scoping]
• Spy
  • Disguise as PYRO. Speed is relatively the same. Cloak and run behind enemy lines, uncloak and disguise. Knife people.
  • Use cloak to run behind enemy lines and get behind people.
  • Don't bother with the pistol, it doesn't work hat well.
  • Scouts will eat your face.
