Damage drop-off is a big deal in CoD because it plays a huge role in gun ranges.

So, I was thinking of buffs for the submachine guns to make them more like the ones in CoD, when I looked at the CoD version's stats I noticed something about the stats, the damage looked something like 40-20, that's when I got this idea. Although it might be hard to code, this could play a key role in balancing out guns. This would make the damage of guns start to drop at a certain point, so the p90 might be a 2 or 3 shot kill at close range, but at a long range a 4-5 shot kill, for some of the weaker ones maybe even a 6 shot kill (wait, with the Minecraft damage system you cant do that so 7 shot kill) With this the smg's could get the RoF they deserve yet not being able to massacre people like the 1200rpm p90/pp90m1.

I don't know how the mc-war plugin works (however if I could see the code >=D) so I cant make any assumptions to how this could work, but I hope the coders can figure it out (If people like the idea)

Off topic: Yours has 0 :stuck_out_tongue:
On topic: If P90 and PP90M1 had a 1200 RPM but also had a huge damage dropoff, that would be a little unrealistic, even for CoD. Recoil is better imo.

No, by 1200 rpm i was thinking about when they just came out before the nerf, for my buff idea i was thinking like 900rpm for the pp90m1 and 810rpm for the p90

But it's unfortunately impossible to have a firerate like that, since it's either 2 ticks (600 RPM) or 1 tick (1200 RPM)

I like it. The worst thing ever is when you are trying to snipe someone, and then a random person pops out from behind a crate with a p90 and mows you down from 40 blocks. If this is implemented, then it will be much more difficult to use weapons like that, however not impossible. If done right, then it can stop the problem of automatics being able to out-shoot sniper rifles in long range combat.
