War Thoughts

Well, there is some thing called the NDA, you know.

 

It stands for Nondisclusure Agreement, it means that the coders can't release the information about what they are working on.
I'm pretty sure Brawl will stay alive through the EULA ruckus.

 

Back in November when I joined, everyone was kind around here. I kept coming back on because of them, but now I only come on to talk with friends.

I have to tell you something. You're not almost done with McWar, you are done.

Let me explain.
You're very tired of this community, and the community is one of the most major things a server should have. You think there are corrupted staff, coders that don't do their jobs and admins that ignore us. A good community turned to a bad community to you. And I think it's either you take a break from playing McWar, or you quit McWar all together.
I'd also like to add the fact that I sometimes hear you in the computer room, complaining about, maybe someone who spams the crossbow or sometimes when you lag hard while you're recording. I play on (Censored) craft, I might almost die in it, but I don't complain. People that do complain do need a break from the server they are playing on, because it will stress them less. (Not insulting you in a way with this.)
It's better for you, Peter. Make a choice. You either stay here, and keep playing. You quit McBrawl and find a new server, or you take a break for a while. Nobody's in control of you of this decision.

 

This is all very true, I haven't reached the clousure point of level 100 but I can agree. The horrifying reality is that mc-war is dying, losing more and more great players every day and gaining more and more.. Well.. Complete idiots.
However, I have found a drive to keep faith in this, we all have to find and understand that this game is not easy to manage, I'm sure our mc-war staff can vouch for that. We need to see things from their prespective, we can see our beloved creator, orange451, being harassed becuase he isn't putting his collage education aside for us. How does that reflect on us? Do we want to look like the immature fourteen year olds (or so) that we are or get a chance to show that we're better? I can tell you my answer, and this is that I will never lose faith in this server because it is quite literally the most fun I have ever had in a game.

You must be pretty blind if you didn't see the section in the EULA thread where Signatured said that Killer_99 is continuing on coding War 2.0.

 

They're not rumors or assumptions. All that stuff in War 2.0 was stuff from the test server (when still accessible).

 

If you played the test server, you'd know of many things.
(haven't you been on there?)

Orange isn't coding anymore I believe, he was "released" or something. I have no idea what that really means, but it's probably a bad thing.

We've all been waiting months for the update. A lot of us have been waiting over a year. But I still see some hope for War. As long as the admins keep it maintained and constantly updated, I'm fine with that.
Which of course, goes into your next point, that the admins don't do enough.
I believe they could do more, but hey - they have 9 servers to maintain now.
McBrawl is a large server group now, and the administration can't just focus on War only.
There's the older servers like WarZ, Party, and Survival. Then there's the newer servers like the new MCCS, Murder, etc. And there's Creative too. Those need to be maintained too.
When you see how many servers McBrawl has, you'll realize how difficult it is for the limited number of administrators and higher ups to maintain them all.

If you still want progress, make a suggestion for a head admin, then an admin who is responsible for each server. Could work. But you need to wait - everyone wants the update. Including the owner and the coder. So hold up, and be patient.

 

I enjoy using the ump45. I do not think it sucks.

You're making it seem like all of the McWar staff does nothing.

 

That's the point of this thread. To show that the staff needs to improve on doing more stuff.

 

But not all of the McWar staff does these things he lists. Some of them already do "more stuff".

We'll the community is evolving and there really is nothing you can do about it exept sit back and go wit da flow. If you really want to do something do what brawler said, get a admin or something

 

Zap, I agree that mc brawl is loosing its good members. A lot of the veteran staff are no longer staff and that is the sign of mc brawl's glorious days coming to an end. I know that we cannot go back in the past but the early days of mc brawl was better before the trail of team crafted fan boys streamed into mc brawl. Seriously all you see is ragers now and the respectable players are slowly fading away. Even though mc brawl is making great changes, the community in general on the servers is not as great as it was in the golden age when mc brawl was simple and not as too well known to team crafted fan boys.

 

So you imply the reason Mcbrawl isn't as great because youtubers made it more popular? I hardly doubt this is the case. You would see tons of people spamming stuff like budder or other Team Crafted memes. The main reason Mcbrawl isn't as good as before is because every server except Creative deals with heavy competitiveness, not new players joining the server network. Also, the veteran staff can't stay staff permanently. They have a life outside of the computer such as schoolwork and jobs ya know. Don't forget that youtubers have advertised the Mcbrawl network since 2012. :V

P.S. Just so you can get that TC fanboy myth out of your head, I came here because of BajanCanadian.
