    I've realized that when a player makes a staff application and a staff member replies with either good news or bad news the players that vote but can't reply just vote no or yes because of what the moderator said. When a application is made it can either be good or bad, when I see a staff member give good news to the player I see the votes for yes increase fast. When I see a staff member give bad news I see the votes for no increase also. Has this happened to you guys?

    For the players reading this that actually read the application, has this ever happened on your app?

    It did. In fact, my app was pending.
    However, I had more enemies within the lines of staff than friends.

    "Within the lines of staff" is irrelevant, we don't really take moderator's opinions on applicants, only Admins / Smod

    If an applicant is not fit for the job we'll usually already now. In particular me & Signatured integrate with the community a lot so I know most of the community reasonably well. This way we'll already have an opinion wether or not someone is ready for moderator.

    But moderators will sometimes message us if they have something to say

    I've not received his much, it doesn't happen to much but staff already know if you suit for the job following from what greenpeas said. And in the end they don't really judge on votes like lucky pop, he had tons of no votes but got accepted because they thought he was ready for he position.

    I know they don't really care about votes, I was just wondering if anyone reads the app or just votes based on what a staff member says in the app.
