The first idea is inspired by a thread that @Credo007lv mad e a very long time ago. (at least I think it was him)
So he went and suggested different zoom amounts for each weapon.
However, you may still move too fast or too slow even with the different slowness effects.
So what I'm proposing here is for different movement speeds while aiming down sights. You'll notice in CoD that you move very fast with SMGs and pistols, while you move more slowly with sniper rifles. This could be done by modifying movement speed directly when aiming down sights. That means it wouldn't be done via the slowness effect.
Before you say this is impossible, the plugin Essentials is able to change your speed without giving you a potion effect.

So here's what I have (keeping this simple) -
SMGs, pistols - fastest movement speed
Assault rifles, shotguns - in the middle
    Sniper rifles - slowest

This could be a way to counter the prestige weapons, making them have slower movement speeds. But wait, there's more.

Idea 2 is to add a delay between shooting weapons. Of course, this is taken from WarZ. However, in WarZ a common tactic is to combo. You almost never see combos in War, so this could work. Basically when you switch your weapon, there will be a delay between you initially pulling it out and being able to shoot it. This is to represent the player pulling out his weapon.

    Again, keeping it simple -
    Pistols - fastest draw time
SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles - in the middle
Sniper rifles - again, the slowest

Now, this could be another way to counter powerful weapons, by making them take longer to pull out. Basically this is just the anti combo plugin or whatever in War, to make it more like CoD.

These ideas seem fine, but how would draw work for weapons?

Then simply hold a gun like your pistol and you will move faster, until you switch to your primary.

This is a very good idea, and would fit seamlessly into War. Making it more realistic, and making the gameplay for unique at the same time.

I like the idea, this will push mc-war to a much higher level.
Even though I shouldn't like to play with weapon delays..

Sounds like a good idea and won't be too difficult to code.

Let me explain. So the first one is movement speed. Basically you move faster with a pistol or something while aiming down sights. With a weapon like a sniper rifle, which has a high power optic, you move more slowly.
The second idea is to add a delay between using weapons to make it more similar to CoD. Pistols would be able to be used almost instantaneously, while a sniper rifle would have about a 1 second delay.

Well, this is one of those ideas that will be too big of a game changer now that people wouldn't like it.
Besides, there is no animations so it would looks very trippy.

I like the first idea, but the second not so much... Since I often go ham with the iso/python combo facing off against 4 or 5 people, I like how there is no draw time right now since after I shoot the iso, I use the python, and by time I'm done with python, the iso is reloaded...
    To clarify:
First idea - I love it
Second idea - Great idea, but I'm not a fan of it...

    The first one won't work...
The scoping effect would be changed if you change the speed, even if it's not via potion effect...
The SMGs would be the most unscoped and so on so forth...
That idea about different scope lengths has already been given in FPSHG, so that would make that idea a dupe...

I wouldn't mind a gun delay... That'd be annoying and fun...

It wouldn't. It's possible to change speed, even with the potion effect on. You still can move with the slowness effect from aiming, and have a different speed than normal.

I'm pretty sure the zoom effect has nothing to do with a potion effect...
I'm pretty sure it zooms based on your speed overall...
I'm going to need proof to know for sure...

It wouldn't counteract ALL of the OP guns, just snipers. The skully and some SMGs would still be pretty OP. But I like the ideas. +1
