Just a little rant about warz and mcbrawl itself.

This is due to the excellent management of bans by @Colonel_Chris, and the other SMODS+. I read saw a post by @GreenPeas_, in which he stated that he banned 31+ hackers of WarZ alone a day. This is a tremendous effort by the staff; and something that a lot of people overlook.

This is also due to the fact that a lot of people are starting to mature. Look at @specknav, 4 months ago he was one of McBrawl's most infamous members. Now he is a staff member. Lot's of people are growing up, and realising the things that they do are stupid.

 

It brings me no small pleasure to see the community grow up like this. WarZ was once the ultimate mosh pit of hackers, ddosers and doxers, and now you hardly see that any more. I'm very proud of the community for getting it together and cleaning up their act like that.

 

I recommend recording while playing so you can catch some baddies hacking or whatever, and also if you get a great clutch or kill you got it recorded.

I wholly agree.
The hardest thing for me moderating isn't having to ban people 24/7, nonstop now. I've kicked like 1 person for flame, and that's IT.
Well, and one DDoS threat.
But the hardest thing is really just answering questions now, whereas I can imagine only a month or two ago it would have been far, FAR harder to moderator WarZ.

 

There are hackers still. Ask anyone in chaos or TKP...

I agree, the staff have been banning and getting hackers, the community used to be filled with hate, ddos and more. The community has changed, and it's gotten better.

Jinngca's right. These people have alts. I was team with hackers a while back. Went through 3 of his alts while I was teamed with him, had countless more.

 

There was a decrease in hackers, and the only hacks people use now is blink which is easy to record.

I agree. I haven't encountered a hacker in a little while. Good job staff!

 

Seriously doubt we can clean up the mess. It's always the same hackers and they just keep buying alts and unbans (plus I doubt the staff would want to ip ban anyway since they are making a fortune out of these hackers)

 

I'm quite happy with this to, I used to stay away from warZ because of the hacking and ddosing, now I hop on the servers a bit to enjoy some casual play.

 

This rant. I like it. Bring me another.
Honestly, it is just amazing to see how much something has seemingly gotten better.
But if anything, thank our Smods.
