Regarding joeymast99's Ban

I vote unban, Joey is an old friend of mine On war. Just to hear is voice again makes me so happy, I believe he's changed.

I like the appeal, and I'm glad to see him have a change of heart. But DDOS causes people to quit, and I think it is a huge risk to let someone with that past back on the server. But I can't say no, or yes. But I would be fine with either.

 

@chickenputty when the verdict is reached, will a new thread be created?

 

If joey is unbanned, do what @phantamanta44 suggested.
If he does something bad again, he needs to be permanently banned, which this ban was supposed to be in the first place. No buying unbans, no appealing. This would be his last chance.

I just don't want him to return to DDOS after raging one too many times on War.
He's a good person, but his anger and temper can get a hold of him in an instance.
My vote will go to keep him banned. If he is to be unbanned, I highly recommend that he is under watch by staff.
You go clean from something, but that merely makes it easier to return.

 

He seems like a good person. Yet he is abusive to his mom.

He worked over a year for that, we cannot just reset it all.

There are other ways to do it, I don't even think he would play anymore if he lost all of his stats.

 

Wow. Never would've thought that my vote would be leaning toward unban, but after reading the appeal and all of the comments...
I think joey should be given one last chance. As said before, if he is unbanned, I think he should be very closely monitored. One slip up, and he should be permanently banned.

 

Other ways such as?

 

Keeping him on a very short rope and monitoring him, we've said that before.
