How are the donations for war in compliance with the eula? They give the player an advantage over others.

From what I've heard, the donor store for MC-War shut down 11 days ago. It's not in compliance with EULA so if it hasn't been shut down already (which I'm pretty sure it has), it will be soon.

The donor guns are allowed to stay, as long as they are now purchased by some means of in-game currency. The EULA states that you 'Cannot purchase any ranks or perks that give you an advantage over another player'. This means that we can still give out donor ranks, as long as people are not purchasing or donating for them with real life money.

We are not forced to abide by the EULA until it's enforced when Minecraft 1.8 comes out. When 1.8 comes out, all servers will have to close down their donor shops.

Then why for current servers do you have to agree to the eula before you can start it?

In the server files, there should be an eula.txt file, and the server will not start without it. It may just be for servers made after the eula was released though.

That won't happen. If servers don't comply with the EULA then Mojang have the rights to file a lawsuit against them.

Then I stand corrected. However if you agree to the EULA and still sell donor items then they can file a lawsuit against you.

Because the EULA has not been enforced yet. When Minecraft 1.8 comes out, any servers not in compliance with the EULA will be stopped. Seeing as 1.8 has not been released yet we are not forced to shut down our stores yet.
