    A perfect example of this is Johansson_01's level 100 post. Multiple pointless rating when Mc-War level 100 is a big deal, it takes time and effort to play that long.
    Back to the point, what if you were required to give an explanation for your ratings? That way people can understand what others think about their posts instead of just "Pointless x OVER 9000!!!!!!!!"
    I know it annoys me to see that a lot of people label a well though out post pointless.

    Ratings shouldn't need an explanation. They're there for people to express how they feel about a post or comment and having to make the person explain themselves every time they want to give a rating un-needed. People can give ratings as they want - and as long as they aren't spamming someone with negative ratings then nothing is wrong.

    I agree, only if they spam one or more people with negative ratings it may need an explanation of why they are giving pointless ratings but most cases it's hatred or holding a grudge against the person.

    Ratings don't really mean anything, it's just a little system they don't effect you really.
    Except when a player spams them. That can be a problem.

    I don't even see what is wrong with getting a lot of negative ratings, if anything it should correct stupid posting.
