Ignore them. By giving them attention they re getting what they want.

 

Targetting is actually allowed, but it can still be very annoying. Just try to ignore it. However if someone is saying bad things to you, you should take a screenshot and report the player(s)

 

Ignore those 12 year old kids, close te chat if you have too but don't let them ruin your day.

 

If people are giving you trouble over chat, then just switch servers. If it persists, then you can use /block.

 

Very few players do it on purpose. They just click and shoot any enemy they see. You probably want revenge so bad that you're walking through the same entrance that he kept killing you at. Take a different route and then flank him from behind.

 

Hey 2skywalkers. I know this must be tough for you, as it is for all of in the community. Some ways to counter this:

1. Leave the server if they continue. Go to another server number or something.
2. Be calm. Do not rage back or start swearing all over the place. This one is hard to do.
3. Tell them calmly to stop. If they continue to be rude, try to bring a staff member on.

1) Try /war chat. It blocks all messages players say, but it will still show the next/current map, "45/60 seconds!" etc.
2) Ignore them, if they're calling you a "noob" If you were a "noob" you wouldn't know how to shoot your gun, etc.
3) Go to a different server if players are trash talking. Use /play war 1-10 or just /play war with no number.
4) Don't insult them back. Use /block <IGN> Very useful command. I can ignore anybody that trash talks.

Ignore them, get on with it who cares what they say, if you kill them and they call you a noob. They are just mad that they killed you because reasons/many/unknown.

I look up to @poskeharen helps me a lot, and so do other mods (don't remember all of ya off the bat, I remember him cuz he helps me like everyday)

 

Just ignore him. KDR doesn't mean anything. As long as you have fun in the game everything is fine Just let him talk.

 

They are people. Try to ignore the mean ones and talk to the happy ones, that's much better.

Remember, this is just the internet. They have no idea who you actually are in real life, so they just go off what they know about you off a game. And so what? A game is just a form of entertainment to you. To cast it away and never come back is as easy as blinking. Never let what someone says over the internet get into your head. Call you a noob, that's just a word. They more than likely do it because they are angry, which is one of the most ignorant things you can do. /war chat is always an option.
TL;DR:
It's just a game. They don't know you. What they call you are mere pixels on your screen. If it is too much, ignore them with /war chat. Never retaliate, but it's fine if you do.
