Minigun nerf suggestion

    The Minigun is incrediby op as for now, and i have an idea to solve it. When you press the shoot button it will take 1-2 seconds to start firing, that's how a minigun works in real life. The barrel needs to start spinning on maximum speed before the bullets come. Why this would work? People can't run into a room and spam their minigun everywhere and kill everyone on sight. This would give the enemies a second to fight the person holding the minigun.

    Yeah but the admins removed it deliberately.

    Ok the minigun is quite overpowered but you can still kill someone with it, a quick scope Isolator shot or dancing around with the skullcrusher.

    The admins removed it only because there was a bug with the plugin that made the guns shoot you up and not back leading to easy OOM.

    NO SPINNUP! In planetside 2 the chaingun had the best dmg and rof of any LMG. . .no one used it. . .everyone hated the spinnup. . .it had to be patched out before anyone started using it more

    But this is Call of Duty, not Planetside.
    I don't think a spin up time is good either.
    Medium-high recoil is really all this weapon needs. However, a overheat meter could work.

    This would really work. Maybe they could also add an animations for this in the resource pack? Maybe even add this and the recoil to make is actually an even chance for people trying to kill them.

    Another issue -
    This is easy to bypass. If you go into a room you can just hold the shoot button a second before to begin shooting as soon as you enter. It wouldn't work in a situation like infect where it's shoot fast or die, but still, easily exploitable in most situations and it would make this useless.

    Great @Gynamo!
    By myself, I didn't like the recoil. I couldn't walk or run with because it teleported me back after each shot (a bit). Now guns like the MSR are better and easier to use for beginners.

    There is really no point for a spin-up, it is too easily exploitable. Besides, for me it would make things a lot better; I will have a lot more time to aim and take out the opponent immediately as long as I dodge the bullets (easy). Even with the knockback, it makes it better for me too. When I'm shooting out of an opening and I need to get inside, the knockback boosts me in. Minigun is my main gun I play, nearly every match. I even tricked out Phantamanta44's mod to make the Minigun look like the Death Machine from Black Ops 2. But if I had to nerf it, my choice would be REAL recoil, whenever you shoot, your cursor starts going up, and shooting becomes much less controllable. Every weakness is just another strength that has vast untapped potential.
