Mc-War Moderation Problems

I've seen 5 mods on at once. And whenever Specknav or Luckypop is on, I can assure you Giggadream, Signatured, Mario, and Mojang are not far behind.

For some reason, Putty doesn't view this as a problem.

I do agree that the War servers are under moderated. Even with the amount of mods we have, I don't even know what they're doing half the time.
I think they should decide who goes on what server.

Really, some War staff leave their server under moderated and play servers like WarZ instead. They know who they are.

Disrespect has always been a big problem with War. However, it seems like people still respect me as a mod even though I no longer have the rank.

Being honest here, the staff are a lot worse compared to what we had around June, July last year. I believe Putty needs to crack down on moderation, if Signatured won't even do it.

I usually try to spread myself around the War servers to watch the chat. However, if I see a mod online on the same server that I am on, I will usually go to a different server. If you ever need a moderator's help, feel free to send me a message on TeamSpeak or In-Game. I will join your server and deal with the problem.

 

Zippy we try to spread out however we don't all have the same time zones and we can't take care of every single problem on MC-War.

I've warned Joshua more than enough times now...

 

Contrary to what you think, I actually have never seen a mod on server 1 since May, with the exception of earlier when I forced @buddycrack to moderate 1, and when I moderated 1 myself.
Mods usually like heading on the smaller servers, leaving these huge troublespots understaffed.

 

And that's pretty good, because it's as if no one gives a damn about server 1. I'm sure a few mods go on it, but conveniently they're never on when the trouble happens.

 

I'm on servers 1-5 for two hours, I take a break for about one hour or so and I log back on a moderate servers 6-12 for the same amount of time.
Keep in mins I don't moderate server 11 because no one is ever on that one much.

 

i can partially agree... but lemme tell you something fun.

imagine, you are a moderator. so what happens.

you wake up in the morning, it is about 7:30 and you realise: hey, i gotta go on mcbrawl! so you join the server, but what is this? you have to leave already DUE TO SCHOOL? fine, so you come back home at about 14:00 or later, you think to yourself: lemme get on my computer. but wait, THERE IS MORE! ...and you see that you have to learn for a test of maths, and science AND you need to make math excersises and history excersises!. so, you go on with that and FINALLY. at about 15:00-16:30 (depends on homework ) you go on the server, but first! you must get on forums. as that is what A MOD NEEDS TO DO AS WELL!. so you look at alerts.. hey! 50 alerts! and 2 new conversations! lemme read through them... hmm let me see, useless, useless, already getting added, useless, lemme post about the problems with this one, useless, intros, outros, (50 alerts later). FINALLY i can join the server! oh wait NEVERMIND! there are 10 more alerts .

and then...it is finally time, you went through all of them. and NOW you can join the server! and you get greated by 50 problems again. some guy keeps glitching and needs a ban (according to some guy), but there is no proof. some guy starts hackusating, OHMYGAWD DAT GAI JUZ UNESHUT ME HAX! and then another person ask you to come to 1 as there is a glitcher, but when you get on he is no longer there. and then after going through the problems, you think: lemme just have some fun now. but the mods cannot, as the forums, just displayed 5 more posts about this.

and then he has to go, dinner. and you have to go to sports (soccer, hockey, baseball etc) and when you get back, it is about 20:00. you have to sleep because tommorow is another school day!.

i did not made this because i was angry. it is just that i am getting kinda tired that no-one is actually doing stuff against this.. if you think you can get mod (0r someone else) just go for it! i would like to see more mods and i really want to see others try it out.

Go on larger servers to moderate those? I remember @Signatured doing that as a War mod.

 

That's what I did back in August 2013. Then greedy @mafiaferret took server 1 and I had to stick to server 5. :v
By the time I had a chance to moderate server 1, there was literally no other mods there, and I was the only mod on there according to @BBSlayer5150 and some other people.
Also, the community on War 1 is sh*t, I didn't even want to stay there for long.
Whenever I hop on server 1, I find no mods. That happens pretty often.
Some mods (no names, PM me if you want their names) don't seem qualified to be War staff either, or they aren't active enough on War and are more active on different servers.

 

It'd seem more reasonable to moderate larger servers such as 1 to clean up chat there so people like you can play there without being called stupid names.

 

Yet there are almost no mods that do that.
Server 1 is like a hellhole, no one wants to moderate it anyways.

 

Mario is exactly right. Usually, the bigger servers have more spammers and disrespectful players on them.

 

Yeah, that's what I thought.
But the community can get so much worse than the WarZ community on 1. You literally have all the ragers and glitchers on 1.
And I've seen a lack of moderation on 1.

 

If you had take a screenshot longer down in the chat you would see that I said "I mostly play on server 1, but I also randomly joins the other servers. "
